  Sinya'ann has scarring along the back and sides of her neck from prolonged wear of slave collars - prior to her "rescue" by the Penitence Jenari, Wyntier, she had to wear them constantly. She tries to hide these scars by wearing some sort of necklace or shirt that covers her neck, but they are difficult to hide due to their shape and locations.

  Personality: Sinya'ann has a conflicting personality, of sorts. She was initially raised in the Great Temple, and began learning the ways of the Kiva - she had begun to emulate the mannerisms of her aunt and the other Kivas, and continued to maintain these mannerisms in secret after the Temple and village were raided by slave traders, and the people taken to the Rancor's Claw.
  
  Once she was within the slaver's den, however, her demeanor had to change and it did affect her nature. Sinya'ann had been quiet in the manner of serenity, however within the lair of the Rancor's Claw, she had to become quiet in the manner of the unseen and undesirable. The Twi'lek took on a mouse-like personality as well as using the Force to withdraw from the forefront of the gang's attention, and when she did interact with them, she was as polite and quiet as possible; years of this left a lasting effect on her, and she remains overly polite and generally too quiet.
  
  Religious beliefs/philosophy: Sinya'ann learned the traditions of Kika'lekki, the Mother Goddess of the Twi'lek peoples, and although she has learned the ways of the Sith, she still worships Great Mother Goddess, albeit in a different way now that she knows the Truth of the Force. She sees the face of Sissavia, the darker side of Kika'lekki.

  ■ Ex-Slave. Sinya'ann's grace can work against her, as it draws attention from the sort of people she wishes it didn't, from the world she left behind when the Penitence crew broke the slaver ring she originated from. Such individuals often notice the scarring left by the slave collar she was once forced to wear, despite her efforts to hide it, and will try to either purchase her or outright kidnap her - neither is a pleasant experience.
  
  As mentioned before, the Twi'lek still often acts like a slave, diminutive and quiet, which only makes her situation worse when she is approached by those who recognise such things. Although she is becoming more and more independent, she still is far too polite and demure for her own good.
  
  ■ Provocative Like most Twi'lek women, Sinya'ann is now most comfortable in form fitting clothing, which she was forced to start wearing towards the end of her time with the Rancor's Claw. She finds that it is easier to perform her tasks as an assassin in such clothing, and continues to use dancewear despite not being a cantina dancer. This, of course, just adds to her problems with slavers and scumbags.

  Childhood: Sinya'ann was born on Ryloth, however she joined her aunt in the Great Temple of Kika'lekki when she was very young, learning the ways of a Kiva and becoming an Ai'jou - a priestess in training. She enjoyed her life as a Temple Handmaiden, living as her aunt's assistant and protege, and had hoped to become the next High Kiva once her aunt returned to the Embrace of Kika'lekki.
  
  However, this was not meant to be, as the High Temple was raided during the High Tuka’atuhlk ceremony, by a slavers ring that eventually lead Sinya'ann to become the property of the Rancor's Claw of Nar Shaddaa. The young girl quickly figured out that the slaver gang was lustful, and while many of her fellow Twi'lek had given up on the Goddess, Sinya'ann still intended on completing her Tsu’kagrei when she came of age...and that meant avoiding the lusts of the slavers.
  
  So the girl starved herself, keeping her form scrawny and lean while she worked hard and kept a fine coat of dirt and grime upon her skin from arduous chores that most of the girls tried to avoid doing; Sinya'ann became a cleaning girl, and used "the Breath of Kika'lekki" to fade into the background of the slavers' den. Between her physical appearance and her use of the Force, the girl managed to spend the next three years in what could be considered relative solitude compared to her fellow Twi'lek sisters, until she came of age and completed her Tsu’kagrei in a forgotten closet, deep within the Rancor's Claw compound.
  
  The other Twi'leks were aware of what had occurred, of the fact that the Breath of Kika'lekki flowed through Sinya'ann, that she was of the blood of Shala as her aunt was, and they were afraid; they had forsaken their Goddess when their temple had been ransacked and their lives shattered by the men who stole them away, when they had been taken to the Rancor's Claw and abused by the gang, only to find that one among them still bore a connection to the Goddess. It was too much, however they did not reveal the self-made Kiva to their captors, and she continued to work as the quiet cleaning woman.
  
  However, towards the end of the third year, Sinya'ann was struck by a horrible vision through the Force. She saw herself being auctioned off to a strange man who was mostly human, but very pale blue with feather-like hair. He was one of the people the slavers called Sith, yet he shone with the light of Kika'lekki. The vision confused her, as she had heard from the slavers that the Sith were all frightening people, dark and twisted but that they courted the Hutts of Nar Shaddaa and the Hutta system very, very extravagantly. She did not understand how one could be a barer of Kika'lekki's light yet be a part of the Empire she'd heard such tales of.
  
  Days past, and she thought her visions false until the head foreman arrived to tell them that the Rancor's Claw had managed to cross the Hutts of Nar Shaddaa, and that to pay off the debt they had incurred, they were to sell off many of their slaves and their belongings of value. The Twi'leks in particular were cleaned up and tressed up, as they were considered "high dollar" property, and the auction block that Sinya'ann had saw in her vision was erected outside.
  
  The Omwati lord was present, and while the Kiva tried her best to use the Force to make those present have no interest in purchasing her, Wyntier knew what was taking place, and purchased Sinya'ann unchallenged. He presented the distressed Twi'lek as present to his apprentice before they turned on the entire auction, striking down the Rancor's Claw and "liberating" the slaves that were being sold.
  
  Needless to say, there was quite a bit of confusion as the Penitence crew cut down the entire slaver ring that had gathered, though they simply took the assets of the Rancor's Claw for their own. Although the slave collars were removed, everyone was expected to serve their new masters, however their quality of life improved dramatically once they were taken to the Penitence and the Omwati's stronghold.
  
  Sinya'ann was given proper training, both with her talents in the Force and with mundane aspects of life that were not taught in the temple or within the slaver's den. The Omwati intended for her talents with stealth and silence to be molded into that of the perfect bodyguard for his apprentice. The Twi'lek woman wasn't entirely against her new role, as Aradia wasn't like the Sith she had heard about while at the Rancor's Claw, and over time, she came to accept her place as more of a Sesk`nabsilai.
  
  Recent history: The Twi'lek assassin followed her Mistress into Wild Space with the Penitence left Known Space two years ago, and only recently returned with the crew to discover the strange developments in the Empire. She has been rather busy with shadow assignments ever since they returned, given the various situations that have arisen.
