My Secret Book May 10th 1678
I am fairly certain that I am not allowed to have this ledger that I have stumbled upon, but alas- I could not resist the temptation to document my experiences. This book does not have many unaltered pages contained within it, and I will have to be very careful about where I keep it. However, it will suffice for now.
I have been seated here within this market for flesh a little over a week, and still- I am viewed as quite the oddity. All walks of life dwell here; many are of an intimidating size, many are of mythical nature, and many are wealthy beyond my comprehensible imagination. Yet, even though I feel that I have been tossed in a world that before I only knew to exist in fantastical literature, I am still a strange sight to gaze upon. How does one so minuscule and insignificant manage to turn more heads than the beastly giants that dwell here?
One such fabled creature has actually paid for my company already. A tall and shadowy dragoness, whose scrutinizing gaze makes me feel as if there is a devil weighted upon my soul. An odd thing for me to confess, surely. But, I am unable to describe the captivating uneasiness she makes me feel otherwise. She wants to teach me about pleasure. I am honestly not very confident on what these lessons will contain, but I agreed anyway- her promise to me that I would be more valuable for possessing such knowledge. She mentioned another word, but the context she provided with it left me with more confusion than the prospect of learning 'pleasure' does.
I shall just have to wait and find out.
