  Syliria lead an average child's life, born and raised on the beautiful Mount Hyjal with others of her kind. She was still quite young when the events of the Burning Legion invasion took place, but old enough to understand the depths of the night elves losses when they lost their immortality and she lost her family. This was but a precursor to her hatred for the Legion, triggering many events in her life that ultimately lead to her sacrifice to become a demon killing machine and exact vengeance for her people, no matter the cost.

  *Being Unable to Make a Difference; Syliria was too young to help aid her people during the Third War and by the end of it she had lost much, as many others had. She knows there was nothing she could do to change the outcome of things herself, but it still remains as a somewhat irrational regret of her lifetime.
  
  *Leaving the Sentinels; A rash decision to charge into battle alone ultimately affected the rest of her life. Although she doesn't necessarily regret her sacrifice, she still ponders the difference (if any) she could have made by remaining with the sentinels and working her way up in the ranks as she had been doing before she vanished and was presumed dead.
