  Mousy brown hair streaked with white throughout. It's usually unbound, but she occasionally parts a bit up front in two sections over her shoulders and clasps the hair with golden clips.

  When channeling magic through her stones swirling arcane symbols come to life across her body and glow. There are light scars from claws across her face (just over her nose and cheeks) and around her neck. When not in use her wings appear as a large tattoo on her back and across the backs of her arms, but appears as if done with white ink.
  Along her spine, there are light blue stones embedded into her skin. When the light hits them just right, they cast a brilliant yellow light.

  Avariel is a thrill seeker and adventurer. Much like the wind, she comes and goes as she pleases. She's playful, feeling that life is about having fun. However, just like the wind, she can be quite the storm to deal with when upset. She's trusting, almost to a fault, and believes in the good of everyone and everything despite past experiences. If wanted, she can be a lifelong friend. She's got a great attention to detail, and is able to recall most anything with precise and accurate retelling.

  Strength (STR)
  Low - Avariel doesn't boast much in the way of physical prowess. What she lacks in strength she makes up for in different ways. She may not be able to bench press more than the next person, but she can certainly out-maneuver them.

  High - Avariel is quick on her feet, and even quicker in the air. She's a natural born rogue, with dexterous fingers and an uncanny ability to balance on all types of surfaces.

• Please bear with me. Avariel is a huge work in progress and none of this is written concisely! I apologize ahead of time.

  
  Avariel comes from a place of magic and mystery. It is said that where she is from a child is gifted magic stones harvested from deep down in a cave of mystical power. There is a ceremony to bond the child with the stones which in turn grants magical powers based on the child. The more stones, the stronger the magical ability. These powers then decide the child's future, and how they will help contribute to the community. Ava's parents weren't well off, but each had stones of their own and wanted to give their daughter more than they had. After saving up, they were able to gift their daughter eight stones for her binding ceremony. Although both of her parents had dark yellow stones, the marks of stone-smiths and miners, her stones turned light-blue during her ceremony.
  
  Her stones, implanted along the length of her spine, granted her the ability to create and manipulate the wind to her every whim. Her powers also allow her to summon wings at will, and with a combination of these appendages and her abilities she can fly for long distances. At home, her abilities were harnessed in multiple ways, but in the end she became a royal messenger at a young age. Her ability to fly far distances very quickly was an attractive quality in a messenger, and before she knew it was travelling far and wide to deliver letters, packages, and even smuggle items in enemy territories.
