  • Impact

    Housing a fire elemental has physical effects on Blaise's body, such as:
    • Average body temperature of 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit, or 37.4 Celcius
    • In moments of high-stress or panic, small little wisps of smoke can be seen trailing from Blaise's nostrils/mouth.
    • Quicker regeneration in terms of wounds, body hair grows at a slower rate.

    But at what cost?


    Despite of his veins running hot with fire magic, Blaise so far has been unable to wield it. In fact, using such magic does damage him, starting off as light burns before turning to blisters and evolving into ruptured skin.
    His sense of color is off from where it was, now he has a tough, borderline impossible with some numbers on the PIP test. The influence of the salamander has given him a slight fear of big bodies of water and cold places. He's not so much a swimmer anymore, and in winter he's bundled head to toe if there's snow on the ground.

  • Split-Soul

    If one thing's for certain, it's uncertain which one of them makes the decisions. While Blaise vocalizes what he'd like to do, or not like to do, it is not without the thoughtful influence of the salamander inhabiting him. While they're not sharing a brain, it's the salamander that makes Blaise want to lay down on warm stones and just nap, tempts him to go shoot some fire at a pile of rotting wood so he could bask in it. Bathing is a struggle Blaise thankfully wins, as the water cannot dampen the salamander as long as it inhibits him.
  • Is your character good with magic?


    Then it's not reasonable to assume that they might be able to sense the fire elemental lodged deep within him. On his soul it's a bright coiling flame, wrapped snug around him.
    Attempts at drawing it out and off of the soul will result in..who knows! Why not try and find out?
