• About

  At first glance, Henry seems like your run of the mill grease monkey with a little bit of an attitude. A closer look reveals a guy who has a serious thrill seeking problem, almost to the point where it seems like he is courting death. The thing is, Henry can't seem to die no matter how hard he tries. Sure, there are a few things he hasn't tested but so far maiming, decapitation, slitting wrists, over dosing on drugs and getting shot have all failed. He just falls asleep and wakes up a few days later, in the morgue or sometimes in some random location close to where he ‘died’.
  
  His father had the curse too, but somehow figured out how to overcome it after passing it down to his son. Of course, Henry was excited about his predicament at first but soon learned to resent what seemed to be eternal life. Instead of using it to his advantage, he has all but wasted it on partying and risky behaviors, leaving himself feeling empty and disdainful at living.
  
  Currently he is residing at a small private airport, the owner allowing him to stay for free as long as he devotes his spare time helping repair and maintain the aircraft housed there. Henry is a skilled pilot and occasionally will hire himself out to private parties when he feels like it, which is often because he needs the money to help pay for his drinking and smoking habits, the two vices he can't seem to kick.

• Personality

  Henry or Hawke is tired of living, which gives him a very "I don't give a fuck" attitude. He has no issues with doing things that are considered self destructive or downright dangerous especially since he just comes back if he dies.
  
  Surprisingly, he has retained some of the class from his generation and despite being slightly lecherous and a flirt, he will open doors, escort ladies and display proper manners when it suits him. Of course, he's still rather lascivious at times and has a hard time taking anything too seriously.
  
  

  

• Tattoos/Piercings

  For the most part, use his face claim as a reference. The largest piece on his right shoulder is a WWII Army Air Corps logo incorporated with a squadron insignia (undecided yet, sorry). His left wristband has the name "Ruth" on the inside and there is a shark on his right rib cage. If you're lucky enough to see it, he has 3 stars that run down his member which also has a curved barbell PA.

• Notes

  • Yes, his not dying thing is kind of overpowered but I'm looking for drama not loads of combat. It still fucking hurts man!
  • That said, he doesn't heal or regenerate. Nope, poor Henry has to completely die to get all his missing parts back in the situation where he loses limbs or something. He can die from any normal means, blood loss, shock, trauma etc.
  • Speaking of, there may be gore but I don't go into graphic detail about his deaths.
  • MxM or MxF for romance, he doesn't care. No futa or furries.
  • Not fond of fade to black or RPs where it's only sex. Balance people!
  • 18+ IC and out.
  • Will do slice of life without powers but it really takes away from some of the humor that comes with Henry.
  • Also interested in RPs in other time periods.
  • I prefer partners who can create substantial posts, at least a paragraph.
  • Please note, Henry talks/thinks about death a lot and has suicidal tendencies. However he is not depressed, in fact often he has a very humorous take on things. This subject comes up often with him so for those who are squeamish, easily offended or sensitive about it Henry isn't your guy.
