• Perchance to Dream

  The demon is like something from a dream itself. Its body is solid, but it looks gaseous, like a human engulfed in ever slow moving flames. Its frame is slender, androgynous with a flat chest that may or may not have some growth to it and a thin waist. Its face is round, young looking with large white eyes and a smattering of white freckle like spots over its cheeks. Its hair is short, always shifting as if in a wave. The demon's complexion is a gradient of twilight sky, blue grey at the hair and lightening to a burnt sun orange by its feet with black toes. Cloudy specs travel over its skin and a smattering of white freckles cover its nose and cheeks like stars. Among the shifting tendrils of its hair can be two hornlike structures (not always) that do not bend to the same freak wind the rest of its body does and a short, thin tail sits just behind it with the same shifting hairs plumed at the end.
  
  Zvjezdan's form is not always this way. On a whim, the demon can change itself to male or female, putting on most any body type, though its face stays relatively the same. With its creation powers, it has near perfect mastery over itself and can therefore look however it, or someone around it pleases.

• Biography

  For as long as there has been consciousness, there have been dreams and conversely, nightmares. While the dreamer is thought to shape their own sleep time wonderment, it is the process of devilry that gives them nightmares. Demons such as Zvjezdan are tasked with this creation. It walks the dreams of mortals, taking mere moments to read them, using its psychic like abilities to understand a person's hopes and needs as well as their deepest fears. With this power, it is able to suss out how to best terrify and haunt someone's dreams. Often, Zvjezdan will work in conjunction with another demon who eats fear, finding the most likely candidates to sate their needs. Other times, it can be hired by imps to find poor mortals so terrorized by their sleeping horrors they'd be willing to sell their very soul to make it stop.
  
  Zvjezdan very much likes its job. However, after years of working and working to create elaborate nightmares and haunts, only to give other demons the pay out, it is frustrated with its position. It will try most anything to find a bigger rank in Hell, wanting someone to share its creations with.
