The Sandsisters

• The Sandsister's first appeared seven years back, and are treated as something of a myth amongst the humans of the kingdom. It is said they live somewhere in the Wasteland Desert in a South West. Knowing where they may be located doesn't mean they're easy to find though. The Desert is vast and unforgiving, between frequent sandstorms, sink holes, temperatures that range from hot as hell to unbelievably cold and nightmarish creatures beyond the imagination, few dare to venture into the Desert after them.
  
  There about thirty sisters now, ranging in age from 12 to 70, they have managed to live harmoniously with the desert in a tribal almost druidic way. It isn't the easiest life, but unlike other humans in the kingdom, they experience true freedom, free of the tyranny of the ruling class humans and their Alien Overlords who cannot survive in the harsh desert conditions.
  
  Only women are permitted to join the sisterhood, this is because of the fear man of them possess having come from the sex trade. It is meant to be a safe space for them. They will not turn away those in need however without food, water and supplies no matter their gender. Though some of the women exhibit hostility to outsiders they are a mostly peaceful group and are responsible for liberating many slaves from the Capitol.
