• Description

  Ulrich is a mountain of a human, towering over most humans. His brown hair was once long, but now it's cut short and not very well. It hangs in messy sections around his ears and sometimes into his eyes. His eyes are golden and piercing. He has a scar on his right cheek and eye that he got from falling out of a tree. He is also missing his right leg from the knee down. He uses his mage staff as a walking crutch as well as its intended purpose.

• Biography

  Ulrich is an Avvar born by the name of Ulrich Ar Jorunn O Wyvernhold. His magic appeared early, and he showed a talent for it. The clan leader immediately paired him with the clan Augur, training him to eventually take his place. One year he decided to join a trade group to a lowlander village for trade. Some young and pretentious Templars thought it would be funny to capture the barbarian Mage and drag him back to the Circle. Unfortunately for Ulrich they succeeded. He spent several months in the Circle dungeons when he put up a fight. At that point he just gave up and joined the other mages up in the Tower. He was there for several years before hearing talk of blood magic creeping into the Circle. Knowing the Templars would blame him, Ulrich escaped and headed back to his hold. Along the way, the group he was traveling with was attacked by bandits and his right leg was smashed. In an attempt to save his life, Ulrich used his own blood to power his magic to close the gaping wounds in his leg so he wouldn't bleed out. A group of Avvars found him and dragged him back to their clan hold, immediately trying to save his life. He survived, but his leg had to be amputated below the knee. Learning of his story, he was given the Legendmark Blood-Oath. Ulrich stayed with the clan until the fighting the the lowlands became so bad the Avvar couldn't trade with the villages. Word of the Conclave reached them, and Ulrich volunteered to go and represent another aspect of mages.
