Beau is ostensibly an extrovert, playful, and sarcastic. She often picks fights she can't win, and she doesn't know when to quit anything. Her loyalty to a select few is fierce and fire-forged. Self-destruction is her MO. The corvid occupies a realm of grey morality, and while she is at her heart a decent person, she is in no way exclusively good.

Pursuant to a traumatic experience, Beau returned home from Harvard and sought to reinvent herself. Her dramatic shift in appearance was followed by adopting her middle name as her given. She delved deeper into what had been a light drug habit and started dealing. With a street life had to come a street name, and she is so-named in honor of jackdaws, another member of her corvidae family. She's adapted this for her stage name, Jacki Noire.
