• History

  Suen Ng-hun grew up a peasant, but would not be content to lead this life. By the age of 8 he ran away from home and lived on the streets as a thief and pick-pocket. This is when he tried to steal food from a monastery and was caught. Instead of punishing the boy, the monks invited him to stay and work for them while also learning the secrets of kung-fu.
  
  But, once a thief...
  
  Upon his 16th year, Suen grew weary of the disciplined monk culture. He had other things on his mind, riches, adventure, to see the leaders and politicians that had made his family live in poverty pay for their opulence. The temple he lived in was dedicated to Sun Wukong, the mythological Monkey King of legend. This would give Suen his first of many treasures, the Staff of the Monkey King; which he stole for himself and set out to make his fortune.
  
  His career would start off by fighting in the streets of any town, village or city he visited. Using the staff to best fighters of every discipline. Legends began to spread, thus started the second part of his quest as he began to adopt followers into his ranks. They saw him as the reincarnation of the Monkey King, and would soon follow his every order.
  
  Now it was time for payback.
  
  Gathering up what some would consider an army, Suen and his followers began ransacking the homes of the rich in whatever village they stopped in. There was only one rule, only attack those that sought to use their wealth to keep the poor in check. Corrupt politicians, dynasties, royalty, all would find themselves robbed blind and more often than not, killed before the people they tried to oppress.
  
  The legend spread further.
  
  One robbery brought forth another treasure for the self-proclaimed Bandit King; the Codex of Mystical Creatures. Therein, Suen would read about monsters of legend, powerful creatures such as dragons and demons that possessed not just untold of riches, but a manuscript of strengths and weaknesses that the macaque would use to further his goals. The armies of the nation had a bounty upon his head, and Suen needed to further build his forces.
  
  Using his accumulated wealth, Suen commissioned a ship; the largest ever seen that would house over a hundred men, brass cannons, and a menagerie of exotic species. 450 feet long, 180 feet wide with 9 massive sails; so large the ship could not dock normally. It would be a symbol of his power as he set sail upon the "Iron Dragon" for distant lands and begun hunting down the creatures of legend to add to his ranks.
  
  

  

  
  Some, like the qilin Chun-Tian, would join willingly. Others? Captured as slaves. Each had a use to Suen as his power continues to grow, but had he lost sight of his original objective? Fight for the poor or just become another of the rich and corrupt?
  
  Only 20 years old and the macaque had more power than most men could dream of, but for what purpose? Would he find a more noble goal or continue down the path he set himself upon; king of the world. Either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain?
  
  

  

• The Known

  Slaves

  Chun-Tian (played anonymously)

  The Qilin was the first of the creatures of legend that Suen would find use for. A pleasure slave of the warlord Omingmak, Suen would crush his pathetic army and take his treasures for himself, including the exotic Chun-Tian. At first she seemed to be reluctant, and Suen kept her in an iron collar to suppress her latent magical abilities. However, the more time they spent together, the more Chun-Tian found goodness in his heart and literally give him her own.

  A skilled though unstable assassin that Suen recently added to his payroll. She does the jobs that require stealth, cunning and savagery. Her career was of murder, and it paid well.
