• History

  Octavia is the youngest of of four children born to the noble family of Bron and Eliza Bancroft. She was not only the youngest but also the only girl out of four children. Her father had served in the army many years before his family began and thus continued to serve in training new coming men. As Octavia grew the more a rebellious nature started to rise out of her. This greatly upset her mother for Octavia would reject the teachings of a proper lady to watch and hope her father would teach her how to wield a sword as he did her three brothers. Not that she did not eventually do as her mother wished an did some of the lessons she instructed her to do. Even so Octavia still longed to swing a sword in her hand to which was not such an outrageous thing given she only had brothers to play with. It had always been known that she rather play with swords and daggers than pearls and dolls and soon her mother began to accept such things.
  
  Much like her brothers she did not wait to be bedded on her wedding night as a proper lady but rather embraced her more sensual nature. Octavia much preferred the company of both handsome men as well as beautiful women.
  
  Soon enough her father gave in and decided to teach her how to properly use a sword after her eldest brother left to serve in the army of the King of the Kingdom they lived in. Her and her father grew very close as he trained her and through this her realized she was an exceptional wielder of the blade. After her second eldest brother left to follow much in her eldest footsteps to serve in the army her mother took ill. The illness moved through her mother quickly and within a months time she had passed on. This brought great sadness to them all but still the family managed to push on and her third and final brother left to do as his other brothers had. Octavia herself wanted to serve in the army once she had learned all her father had to teach her, to do something that would most certainly make her father proud of who she had become.
  
  As she continued on training with her father battles were fought by the Kings army bringing death to many and their families. It did not take long for word to come to their door and then Octavia had not only lost a mother but had lost three brothers. This news took a great toll on her father as he slowly before her eyes started to change into a man she no longer recognized. This greatly saddened her for her and her father had become so close over the years since he started training her to fight in the proper way. Over time he lost weight as he could not eat and he took very ill because of such and Octavia knew it would not be long before she had lost everyone she had ever loved. Still she stayed by his side until the moment her pulled his last breath and that was the day something within herself shattered into pieces she could not fit back together.
  
  Once her father had been laid to rest in the family crypt Octavia left the only home she had ever known but not to join the army that had taken so much from her already but instead to wander the lands in search of something. Octavia searched from something to fill the void of pain and loneliness she now carried with her in all her journeys to no place in particular.
