  Arnwolf carries a machete in the belt of his jeans-- wherever he can. Behind the door to his home is a shotgun. This is OOC information, your character is not going to know unless Arnwolf trusts them enough to let them into his home... which is unlikely.
  
  He is a man of very few words... He keeps to himself. Arnwolf is definitely antisocial and does not regret that fact at all. He treats strangers and new acquaintances with complete distrust and will come off as cold and distant. He has no shame, no mercy. If his personal spaces are encroached upon he will retaliate with violence.
  
  He has no 'supernatural' abilities. Increased physical strength and canine senses are all that come with his species. The biological explanation for his all his ilk is that the 'curse' originated from regular, quadruped breeds. Perhaps the familiars of witches or sorcerers-- if one believes in that sort of thing. What really happened to his people after they disappeared from the map, wiping clean their history, is a mystery. Although he may refer to himself as a werewolf, 'dogman' may be used to more aptly describe him. Arnwolf generally chooses not to transform and isn't greatly affected by the moon phases. Over many, many years, the ancestors of his species evolved to retain their animal forms and shun humanity. In this case, the human and the beast are very much interwoven-- hence wearing clothes and using tools.

  Born in the North of England, on a farm straddling the Yorkshire border. His father had emigrated from Germany to be with his mother, during their youth. They were readily absent during his childhood and, for the most part, Arnwolf brought himself up. He ran away during adolescence to live with a group of boys his age. They survived in the wilderness-- hunting and foraging-- until they were taken by a coven of 'dogmen'. Only Arnwolf survived the transition from human to beast. He bided his time, eventually superseding his elders. He helped lead his people, later in life, in their return to a fabled homeland. This place had been preached to Arnwolf during his youth as one of the native people. He was formely inducted into the clan, then, after many years of faith and service. His new-found home lies West of the county of Durham. Community means a great deal to Arnwolf-- respect, loyalty. Friendship is only a commodity.
  
  Arnwolf saw the most bloodshed in middle-age. His people warred amongst themselves and he took it upon himself to bury those who were lost. He remembers. He regrets the violence of his people and humankind alike. That doesn't mean he avoids it. In many cases it's a necessity, if only to cling to what little they have.
  
  Arnwolf believes that he is not what has been done to him, nor the things he couldn't change. He believes that his decisions have defined him. Now, he lives a quiet and solitary life. If he can help it, Arnwolf doesn't wish to make any more pivotal decisions. If he has value, it is in his silence. His fellows find him... sobering.
