  Aithan and Iantha were raised in a middle class family. Their father provided them with a comfortable lifestyle with his job but their mother wanted to be an upper class socialite. Around their 18th birthday their mother divorced their father for some guy who 'would provide her with the life she always wanted'.
  
  Up until this Aithan and Iantha had been best friends. It was a suprize to everyone, even their father, that Aithan chose to go with his mom while Iantha stayed with dad.
  
  Their mom joined the vampires within a year. Her desire to be rich and young forever made her an easy target. Aithan followed his mother blindly. As soon as he was accepted and joined the ranks himself he went to Iantha. He begged and pleaded for her to join him. But the twin was not easily swayed.
  
  Iantha was mortified and angry that they chose that path. She vowed to eliminate them and joined the Bladed.
