    • Mannerisms: While being a witcher has beat a lot of the fun out of him, there are still some small quirks to Cardew. He has a tendency to redo his hair when he's frustrated or angered, while he can no longer effectively express his emotions- this is a clear sign the man is about done. Another thing is that Cardew will also tend to speed up his speech when any sort of emotion actually does come upon him, this is really any emotion though. Lastly, he often thumbs at various objects when on the path or bored.
    • Likes: Cardew is a simple man with simple needs and wants, even desires. Among this list he would include a fireplace, a small cabin in the forest or staying at the Kaer, being on the Path is also a favorite of his, he likes the quiet even if he can find this in a city, kind and generous people who are open minded will find good company with a Cardew as well, he also enjoys time with Alistar and his horse.
    • Mental Illnesses: PTSD // Depression /// These will be explained in his backstory. Due to his suppressed emotions, Cardew can have awful relapses as the episodes are likely triggered only through extremes. Although, these episodes rarely occur and are very hard to even trigger given the same reason as to why they're incredibly suppressed.

  • Personality

    ISTJ-A / Cardew is a more logical thinker by default, rarely using his heart and morals to help make simple decisions. He normally leaves this to his partner, Alistar, while he himself goes by the facts. With an already "no-nonsense" and factual outlook on life, this makes the emotion dampening effects of the Trails even more apparent, which is part of the reason few enjoy Cardew's company. This rather boring personality does make for some comedic moments however, ones Alistar enjoys thoroughly. For Cardew humor doesn't really click for him, making most jokes, sarcasm, and jabs go right over his head and will only earn those around him a factual quip or a full logical explanation. Making this quality rather humorous for people who enjoy seeing their clearly made-up facts or stories be returned with a long diatribe that can go on uninterrupted for hours.

    But it should be noted that Cardew's drive for efficiency and logic makes him an excellent Witcher. Applying more knowledge of the vast bestiary than most and at a blindingly fast pace as well, makes hunts safer, quicker, and easier. By the time his compatriots have starting setting their traps, Cardew is already preparing for the moment said traps fail. Thus, making him dependable, reliable, and incredibly loyal as he is more than willing to lay his life on the line for friends and family that he cares for deeply.
