• Weapons

  Katana - Sheathed upon his back is a mid-sized Katana. Kept in pristine condition, the blade is metallic black in color and well kept. Forged to reach a virtually indestructible state the blade can withstand various levels of impact and force. The handle is constructed specifically to negate or drastically reduce vibration to accommodate what the blade may come in contact with. The scabbard, handle, and hilt are etched with intricate designs that make the weapon truly unique. This is his primary weapon when in combat.
  
  Twin Tantos - Built within his gauntlets are scabbards for a set of shobu Tantos on each arm (handles towards his handpaws). The placement of these weapons have multiple purposes such as: can be quickly drawn in stealth, pose as a means of protection when sheathed if the need to block bladed weapons arises, or reinforcement for a forearm blunt force attack. Much like his Katana the blades are also metallic black and forged to increase it's durability. Slayback will very rarely draw both at the same time to ensure he still has blocking capability.
  
  Rope Dart - Coiled at his hip lies a rope dart, better known as a Jōhyō. It's cord made of a thin steel braid for durability without compromising flexibility (10 ft in length). This weapon can be used for twining, binding, circling, climbing/scaling, hitting, piercing, tightening, and other techniques. It could be used to entangle a sword and rip it from the opponents hands, and/or used to wrap around an enemy's legs to trip them. Slayback will employ his rope dart when ranged attacks are required or to aid in scaling or climbing obstacles.
  
  Smoke Pellets - Hidden within his sash is an assortment of smoke pellets. Primarily used for surprise attacks or distractions these projectiles are simplistic yet effective.

• Items

  Black Book and Charcoal - Tucked in a pocket within his breast plate is a small book and charcoal. This book is used for jotting down information Slayback deems necessary to keep. He often keeps track of notes, names, descriptions, drawings, or any sort of pertinent information within it's pages.
  
  Handkerchief - Slayback also keeps a handkerchief on him for a number of reasons. It can be used as a tourniquet, cleaning and maintaining his weapons, cleaning a surface and or object, or anything else that may prove it useful.

• Clothing and Armour

  Mask Helm - Placed upon his head is a protective/concealing mask helm leaving only his eyes and ears exposed. Vents in the muzzle piece allow for easy breathing and eliminate his voice being muffled. The mask helm is often not worn unless in combat or in a situation where it is required.
  
  Body Armour - Upon his torso is light weight leather armour providing a level of protection without adding additional weight. His torso is reinforced in the chest, back, and shoulders with his arms left bare save for his leather gauntlets that reach just shy of his elbows.
  
  Gauntlets - Matching his body armour are a pair of leather gauntlets with built in scabbards. Reinforced on the tops of his paws and forearms these offer a small degree of protection. On the bottom portion of the forearm are sheathed tantos that offer the most protection when defending attacks. His digits remain exposed to maximize manual dexterity for climbing, weapon use, and/or throwing of smoke pellets.
  
  Sash and Trousers - A simple sash and trousers make up his lower extremities. Offering very little in protection his trousers are loose fitting to allow unrestricted movement and flexibility. His sash bears various places to store smoke pellets, coins, handkerchief, and any other trinkets Slayback needs to carry.
  
  Tabi Boots - Split-toes tabi boots on his footpaws allow for silent movement as well as steady balance when on unfavourable terrain and objects. The shins are reinforced with hardened leather but are more designed for performance than protection.

• Abilities

  Athleticism - What he lacks in strength he makes up for in agility and stamina. Slayback is very quick and acrobatic with exceptional reflexes and situational awareness. He can leap great heights and distances all the while utilizing his surroundings to his advantage.
  
  Stealth/Tracking - Slayback can move quickly and quietly when needed. His light weight clothing and weapons allow for him to operate very effectively without being seen or heard. With the help of his athleticism he can land, climb, and prowl virtually undetected by the average furre. Being a skilled tracker Slayback can use his heightened sense of smell to gather various forms of information required to trail someone of interest. With his stealthy abilities he can even get close to his target to perform surveillance and/or to strike when needed.
  
  Tactics - Slayback's fighting style is very defensive and reactive. He often assesses his opponent to calculate possible weaknesses to exploit rather that rely on strength. Coupled with his high degree of situational awareness he can utilize his surroundings during combat to take cover, evade, counter, etc.
  
  Night Vision - Slayback possesses a very keen night vision. In complete darkness his sight is unimpaired and he can see and operate as if in broad daylight. Though his vision is optimal under darkness transitioning to brightness too quickly can cause momentary blindness and disorientation.
