PERSONALITY
On first impression, Bunny seems to be a lot like the animal that he, due to a ridiculous decision by a mother with poor judgement, is named after. His body language is tense. He comes of a shy, but at the same time energetic. Quick on his toes, sharp reflexes, and good hands makes him a quite efficient man when it comes to practical work.
No matter how befitting his name might be, he hates when people make jokes about it. He tends to take himself too seriously. He’s grown in a neighborhood with strict hypermasculine expectations of how men should be, and as a slightly short boy with delicate features, and unusually big, expressive eyes, Bunny have always fought hard to live up to them.
Even now, as an adult, there are still many sides to Bunny, that he won’t acknowledge, which has led him to live a very private life. This may be why he’s still hopelessly bad at articulating his own thoughts. He has a habit of getting lost in his own sentences, and he’s easily flustered. But what he can’t express in words, he will try to express in actions. To people he cares about, he is kind and genuine.
Despite brave efforts and high ambition, most of Bunnys plans for his life, has ended in failures. But he still holds on to the idea of somehow turning his life around. He still has this dream image in his head of a great job, big house, beautiful family. Even if the means to get there seems impossible, and the woman standing next to him in this image, has always been nothing but a blurred figure.
HISTORYBunny’s most defining characteristic throughout his life is perhaps the intense desire to be all the things that he isn’t. In kindergarten, he wanted to be the one with the birthday party that everyone else was excited about. In school, he wanted to be strongest and the tallest, and the one with the best Playstation games, so that going to his house would be in high demand. In reality, he was a short, scrawny kid in hand-me-down clothes, making playdates at his friends houses because they had homemade meals for dinner. As he got a little older, it was a painful realization that some people, by nature of their upbringing, are set up to fail. But it did not make him want to give up. On the contrary, Bunny became determined to ‘make it’. To achieve something that no one expected of him.
Unfortunately Bunny did not have a lot going for him. He did not do well in school, and wasn’t popular. He didn’t hang with a good crowd. But he was inventive, quick, and more than willing to do things that were risky or just downright dangerous. Eventually he came to see crime a shortcut to at least get a foot in, in a successful life.
