Egil Tylta

As a man Egil is handsome and on the thinner side of athletic. His hair is unruly, often seen curly, and his eyes are oddly bright. Despite that he's got a warm exterior and is always the first to smile. Though he can often be distracted, especially when writing, he does seem to care deeply for those around him. He's most often dressed in what would now be termed as "hipster" fashion, which would fit him except he'd been doing this since he was a child. Preferring the old style of pretty much anything, from clothing to traditional black and white films.

When he's found outside of his old Victorian home he's often seen with a beat up leather duffel, filled with moleskine notebooks and scripts he's editing. There is an assortment of pens inside as well, headphones, and the oldest most battered walkman you can imagine.

When shifted he is an almost too big black German Shepherd, with bright tawny eyes and a lanky build. He's thin, thin enough where his ribs and shoulder bones can be seen, but if his body is really looked it the very fine muscles can be seen. It may be skinny and lanky, but it's powerful and brutal.

Egil has always been the odd kid, from his classes to his family. It wasn't that he was off or weird, it was just that he thought differently. In his mind Egil sees everything in black and white, which is partially because he's colorblind but also because he processes things differently. When he looks at a happy beautiful picturesque location, he can see the little invisible horrors. The scary things in the daylight, waiting for the night. And he embraces them, lives for them.

By the time he was in high school it was apparent that constant scribbling he did was going to be important, he'd filled journal after journal with every little thought in his head. Putting stories together and creating these incredible worlds. He received a scholarship to a fancy film school at graduation, and by the time he finished the four year program he had three scripts in production, and one that was about to be released in theaters. To say he was a prodigy would have been an understatement, and since then his career has continued to grow.

Recently he's purchased a home in Nexxus, an old Victorian that had been abandoned for many years. He's restoring it himself, and lives in the part that he's already finished with his two pets. A craven named Hitchcock after his favorite filmmaker, and white raven named Absinthe. When he is not home working on his house he frequents a few cafes in Downtown where he picks a table and writes until his hands hurt.
