Biography

• Casey’s mother, Danielle Mackenzie, loved him, his two older brothers, Todd and Sam, and his younger sister, Nancy. On the other hand, his father, Roy Flint, was a drunk and was divorced by Danielle while she was pregnant with Nancy. When Casey was 7, he watched his mother get beaten to death by her vengeful ex-husband. He tried to stop him but was pushed violently to the ground, breaking his arm and slashing his right eye across a loose nail, which left a scar and blinded the eye.
  
  Before this Casey was always extremely happy, never sad or angry. He might as well have been the most cheerful person in the world. But this experience harshly changed him. It made him have extreme mood swings and gave him a very split personality.
  
  Casey’s brothers and sister were moved to an orphanage in Ireland whereas he was researched and experimented on in a laboratory in Germany. He was chosen for this because he was greatly affected by it, after being a first-hand witness.
  
  He was mainly experimented on for his split personality but was also used for testing genetic modification. One of the biggest experiments done on him was what the scientists called ‘Project: Mood Eyes.’ Mood eyes are basically eyes that change colour depending on the person's emotional state. If the person is feeling negative emotions like anger, sadness or fear their eyes will turn red. If they’re feeling positive emotions like happiness, relief or love their eyes will turn blue. If their emotions are neutral, one eye would be red and one eye blue. He was almost considered the perfect subject for this experiment, seeing how he has a split personality, mood swings and one of his eyes were useless to him anyway.
  
  Once his new eyes were surgically implanted, they worked very well. Casey gave his ‘red side’ the name ‘Aka,’ and his ‘blue side' the name ‘Ao.’ After the scientists successfully completed their experiment, they wanted more use out of Casey so they did genetic modification tests on him (as I mentioned before.) The main area of research and tests they did was to enhance Casey’s agility. After a year of experiments, Casey could run up to 5 times faster than the average human (75 MPH).
  
  After this, they let him leave the lab and he stayed at the orphanage with his siblings. After a year, he used his agility to run away. He ran for approximately 1 day and 3 hours (taking away the time of the two boat trips) and eventually reached Sweden. He went to this country specifically to reach a place called Elementa Exitiosus (‘Destructive Elements’ in Latin). He decided to go there because kids around the age of 14-16 claimed another child who used to stay at the orphanage, Cassidy Morgan, promised that he would go there and when he ran away, he never returned.
  
  Elementa Exitiosus is a school that teaches people how to use deadly or destructive elements like fire, water or wind. Sure enough, he met the famous Cassidy Morgan he’d heard so much about at the orphanage. The leaders at the school offered Casey a place there because of his incredible agility. He wasn’t cursed with a bloodlust like Cassidy and many other members of the place because of his eagerness to kill. Elementa Exitiosus was where Casey trained to use the elements light and darkness for the next 8 years. He also learned noncontact pain infliction and non contact healing. He wasn’t given a tattoo, a scar, etc to symbolise what kind of elemental he was, like other elementals, because his eyes were enough to show it. Once he was 17, he returned to England to kill the man that murdered his mother. Elementa Exitiosus give Casey assignments like assassinations and interrogations.
  
  On these assignments his eyes never go blue, only red or neutral. This is because his ‘Red Side’ always enjoys itself on these assignments. It especially loves torturing, as it gives it the opportunity to watch its victim’s sanity slowly leave them. Indeed, Aka usually only shows negative emotion but watching death and suffering gives it its own kind of happiness.
