• Appearance

  Physical Description: Iris has been around for a long time, so appearances come and go. She held three main "lives" during her time, each representing her appearance differently:
  
  First Appearance: As both a human and a recently developed Vampire, Iris held this appearance. Young and natural, but often weary and frightened. Her face often blended into crowds, if she bothered to show it.
  
  Second Appearance: Iris has matured, and reflects a more intelligent and calm personality, often wearing just a bit of makeup and glasses. She no longer hides her face, but chooses not to draw attention.
  
  Third Appearance: Iris no longer fears nor cares if her face is seen, as it's been years, and her identity is always lost before anyone can recognize her. She now adorns heavy makeup, flashier clothes, and never shies away from attention.
  
  Height: 5'8"
  
  Weight: 153 lbs, she keeps track of her weight almost as a habit.
  
  Hair: Dark brown and just longer than her shoulders, often swept back from her face or pushed away. No bangs.
  
  Eyes: Dark brown with low, sharp eyebrows. Often framed with dark makeup.
  
  Limb Dexterity: While Vampires are already stronger than humans, Iris has taken the time to work out to a minimal, giving her just a slightly larger edge. That being said, her workout is nothing impressive.
  
  Detailed Physical Description: A Sharp nose, narrow eyes, and a rather wide smile, Iris stands as both confident and cool, but also cocky. Her frame is feminine and thin, just slightly more muscular than average. With a strong jaw, and pale skin, she can easily be taken as threatening and superficial, despite her personality.
  
  Typical Clothing/Equipment: Iris enjoys fine dresses and anything in black. Despite common assumptions, it has nothing to do with being a vampire, she merely enjoys a classy look. When not dressed up, she adorns leather. Her clothing is often trendy and revealing, as Iris is prideful on looking good.

  Name (& pronunciation): Izolda Petrov (Original name) other names include Ida, Irene, and the most recent, Iris.
  
  Date of Birth (& age): November 5, 1911. Originally, she was 28. But if you count all of her years, she's around 90.
  
  Place of Birth: Kungar, Russia.

  Species/Racial Origin: Vampire
  
  Social Class/Community Status: Currently a business woman, but works with aliases.
  
  Family/Friends/Pets/Etc: A few friends, but mostly for show. No one that's really close as of today.
  
  
  
  Personality/Attitude: As a vampire with years of experience, Iris is calm, wise, and confident. She holds herself in high esteem, and rarely shies away from any situation. In contrast, she's also quite independent and uninterested in most the affairs of others. Distrustful, demanding, and condescending, Iris can also be quite awful company, and only puts her interest into those she truly thinks will surprise her. Despite once being a doctor, Iris doesn't always step in to help, knowing that death will happen sooner or later, and life will continue. Iris is known to be social, and somewhat charming, if not intimidating at times. But also very withdrawn when it comes to personal matters, and rarely steps outside the wall she's built around herself. On a deeper level, Iris is very self driven and intelligent, with a need to be above others. She's deeply passionate about life, both the good and the bad of it.
  
  Skills/Talents: She's strong, part of being a Vampire. But she's also clever. In the end, she doesn't mess with weapons. Hand to hand combat is her strength, along with medical training.
  
  Favourites/Likes: Clever and wit makes her smile. Iris enjoys wisdom as it makes her feel as though there's someone to relate to. She also likes flowers, something she prefers to keep secret.
  
  Most Hated/Dislikes: Stupidity, plain and simple. She doesn't really approve of pure aggression. But most of all, she can't stand condescending people. Iris has been alive much longer than the average person, so there's no reason they could ever be higher than herself.
  
  Goals/Ambitions: She's had so many, they seem pointless after a while. But she'd like to find a good way to die. Not that she wants to go out, but Iris wants to know that there's an escape from life.
  
  Strengths: Experience in almost EVERYTHING. Being a Vampire comes with many perks, strength and endurance.
  
  Weaknesses: Trust is a big one, but also letting go of control. Iris has a hard time working with really anyone.
  
  Fears: Immortality. It sounds dumb, but for so long she's been unable to rest. She wants to know there will be an end to her life some day, no matter how hard.
  
  Hobbies/Interests: Other vampires, as she's learned really nothing about them, despite her age. As well as trends in the long run, as she finds it interesting to see how humans change. Art occasionally strikes an interest as well.
  
  Regular Routine: She works the day and prowls the night. Occasionally she takes someone home.
  
  Philosophy of Life: Nothing. There is nothing that will help you live your life any more successful. To be alive for so long, you realize there's no way to protect yourself from mistakes.
  
  Religion/Beliefs: Haha no. Religion is a way of controlling the population into submission. Humans will always find some form of code or religion to force upon the weak minded in hopes that they will follow like idiots. Iris detests it.
  
  Fetishes/Strange Behaviors: Her laugh is absolutely hysterical, and Iris has a bad habit of being demanding. Iris also has a thing for fighters, and oddly enough enjoys anything offering a challenge.
  
  Sexual Preference/Experience/Values: Iris messed around quite a bit in her earlier ages, but the older she gets, the less active she becomes. She sees sex as nothing but that. But her search for a romantic partner is long gone. She's been married multiple times, and her life as a vampire makes it incredibly difficult to find a connection to anyone. Only someone who REALLY peaks her interest would get romantic attention from her, and frankly she doesn't see it happening ever again.
  
  Education/Special Training: A LOT. It has nothing to do with being smart. Just happens when you're 80 years old. The majority of her education is around medicine and business.
  
  Place/Type of Residence: Iris owns a rather nice apartment in Seattle, but rarely spends time in it.
  Occupation: Her three occupations; a soldier in WWII, a doctor (specialized in surgical emergency) for a good 30 years, and finally, a business benefactor for new cosmetic surgery.
  
  Additional Notes
  

  Iris both loves and hates the color red. It's passion, but also lust. And it's the color of blood, what she's forced to rely on. While she isn't aware of it, she psychologically avoids it.
  Despite always trying to look her best, Iris enjoys ragged clothing and dirt. Rarely does she get to be rowdy.
  Every flower in her apartment has been preserved with chemicals, so they don't wilt. A small tribute to her own unfading life.

• Backstory

  Izolda was born just before World War II, in Russia, a communist country. Once the war started up and recruitment began, she enlisted at the age of 26 along with her husband at the age of 34. She became pregnant during, and soon quit her life as a soldier and returned home. Her husband, unfortunately didn't make it home, and so she continued to raise her son on her own. During this time when she met her fate at the hands of a vampire. While frightened and on edge, she had a son to take care of. So Izolda took her child and shut herself away. Because of this, her child suffered from a severe disease, and without a doctor in sight, he sadly perished. It was a hard blow for Izolda, and so she cut herself off from society even farther.
  
  After some time past, she came to terms with her son's death, and in his honor, became a doctor. For years, she stayed like this, enjoying the comfort in which she gave others. But even that brought her boredom after a while.
  
  She now works as a plastic surgeon, and uses the excuse to meet new people, in hopes of finding other Vampires such as herself.
