Fountain of Youth

    How the fountain looks
    5050601530_a59e53cfc9_b.jpgThe fountain was by itself in one of the many deserts Able's mother was exploring. It was about three feet tall and the water never seemed to dissipate or even have its levels drain. It's as tan as the sand it was built upon and it's a bit fancy looking, as if a noble family built it.


    Was it really a fountain of Youth?
    The fountain has a backstory that used to be told for generations, but one day the stories stopped and soon after so did the belief of the fountain's existence.

    However if you were able to find the story of the fountain, it would say this:

    "There was once a hidden kingdom in a far corner of a vast desert. The people were happy as they were not bound to the same social normatives as other kingdoms throughout the land. This kingdom had no poverty, no hatred towards sentient creatures that wanted a sense of belonging, no dictations surrounding whom loved whom. It was a great Kingdom and even a place of magic, but that all changed when the fifth family took over the rule of the kingdom. The family began to have slaves, create unfair taxes, and even kill the inhabitants for sport and entertainment. It was an awful place to live and an even worse place to talk about. There are tales of a Wizard of sorts who lived in the land, this Wizard was not affected greatly by the changes the new family imposed but also didn't want to stand by while everyone around suffered. The Wizard knew that even if the family was killed, there might be others who shared the same views and might try to enforce them, so a plan was devised. This plan was to curse the kingdom's water supply from the only source available, the fountain in the middle of the kingdom square. The curse was simple, it would kill off all the inhabitants, including the Wizard, and as the bodies decayed, they'd release a secondary curse into the air that would destroy all the buildings, plants, animals, and everything else in the kingdom with the exception of the fountain.

    The wizard was the last to die, and before death would have it's embrace, the wizard decided to remove and place a different curse on the fountain, whosoever should find this fountain whether they be lost or just exploring, would be granted with everlasting life as sort of a failsafe in case any member of the family who had been out of the kingdom at the time ever decided to come back. It was the final curse the wizard ever made.    "

    Although rumours of a said fountain of youth survive to this day, no one alive has ever heard of anyone, or has themself, found the said fountain.
