• Biography

  (( Moridanu is a human vessel created by the Goddesses Morrighan and Danu (from the Celtic Pantheon). She was created with the intention of her body being a form that the Goddesses may take on, should they choose to return to this plane. When the time came for the Gods and Goddesses to leave this plane, they both had the same idea of creating their own vessel, but Chokmah - the Mighty Father, and Binah - the Mighty Mother put their foot down at the use of such powerful magicks as they sensed that two supreme beings walking this earth would lead to Chaos and in turn - the eventual end of the world. Morrighan became incessed at being denied, and threatened to unleash her army of demons upon the worlds. While Danu had blown a cooling wind to soothe the blood boiling in Morrighans veins, Binah and Chokmah had seen what was to be. After consulting with the oracles, they decreed that Morrighan and Danu could produce a Supreme Being.. ONE of them. They both had to pour the best of their essence into a human vessel. They would both be able to posess the vessel if the need arose, but they were to leave her to fulfill the role she was created for: to bring balance to the battle between light and dark. They spent many moons preparing for the creation ritual:))
  
  The Creation of Moridanu
  
  ^^... The wind tore the clouds accross the sky as the air burned hot and thick. The time of the Gods on this plane was nearly over. Time had run out, and Danu, the Goddess of Nature knew that they must act quickly. She scanned the hilltop that crested not far from where she stood as she looked for Morrighan, The Goddess of Witches and War to appear. Fuming to herself that this had been Morrighans idea all along, Danu prepared to leave just as a large ebony raven appeared flying through the thick grey clouds that were blotted against the violet sky like stains of ink against a fresh white parchment
  
  Sighing, Danu made her way up the hill and turned back to the Cauldron she was watching while reaching down to stoke the already roaring fire that burned underneath the hard, smooth metal bowl. As Morrighans legs elongated to long, strong sturdy legs, her wings expanded to reveal long arms covered in shaggy ebony feathers. Her womanly chest expanded, as her neck grew longer until there was a large beaked face just above the three large breasts that seem to have consumed her chest area.
  
  Striding over to the circle Danu had cast with large white stones, Morrighan performed the necessary circle chant to gain entry. Throwing a black sack to Danu, she snarled and looked up at the darkening sky. The grey clouds were now turning a dark black as thunder rumbled overhead. Morrighans birdlike face peered at Danu. ~ This be your doing?~
  
  Danu merely shrugged as a flash of lightning answered the thunders roar. ~ I think that be , the Mighty Father, and the Mighty Mother lending their power for our ritual. Come, now is the time.~
  
  Danu's light and beauty shone against Morrighans darkness and spite. As the two Goddesses chanted and threw things into the bubbling couldron, the sky above them erupted into a frenzy of wind, lightning and thunder. Chanting louder, and with more strength, they drew on the energy being created by the storm as they added just the right ingredients into the mix. In the height of the raging storm, the earth beneath their feet shook as the air around them blew a torrent of leaves that danced around them three times before flitting over the couldron and dissappearing into its murky depths. The clouds erupted as a torrent of water fell down and gushed into the cauldron that overflowed and put out the raging fire with an angry hiss. The thunder cracked directly overhead in a boom so deafening that even Morrighan jumped. A bolt of lightning streaked down from above, to strike the cauldron, splitting it in two and spilling its contents out and onto the ground. The purple mixture bubbled as it flowed downhill from the summit the ritual had occurred on. The concoction became a small river that flowed into the large, dense forest that surrounded the base of the hill. As it flowed past two tall oak trees, it disappeared into the darkness that consumed the tall, old trees...^^
  
  ^^... Looking downhill, Danu glanced at Morrighan in shock. ~ Was that supposed to happen?~ Morrighan swore under her breath as she strode down the hill, Danu trailing behind her. When they reached the forest, they followed the trail the concoction had formed till they came to a small tree stump covered in moss. Sitting on the tree stump was what appeared to be a young human girl approximately 9 years of age. Her head was a tumble of amber curls that covered most of her naked torso, while her green eyes scanned the surrounding forest. When she saw Morrighan's and Danu's arrival, she stood up and walked over to them with arms outstretched. Morrighan snarled and backed away in disgust. ~ I didn't agree to this!~ Turning on her heel, she had strode out of the forest and back up the hill. Danu had been saddened to see the look of hurt upon this young girls face as she had strode up the hill to follow Morrigahn. After discussing the matter in length, they held another ritual, this time Morrighan led the ceremony.
  
  Deciding that she wasnt prepared to play nurse mother to a young child, Morrighan - Goddess of War created the ultimate warrior, to protect the young one until she was old enough to protect herself. Happy with the outcome, Morrighan had led him down to the girl, only to have her run away screaming at the sight of the 8 ft tall blue and red demon.
  
  After collaboration with Danu, Morrighan worked on another creation. To make sure that he was forever linked to his charge, Morrighan used a part of the girls blood to create his essence. The girl had followed them back up the hill after Danu had assured her that they would send the big demon on his way. Knowing that Morrighan was creating a protector for her, the girl had given the blood freely enough. Looking down in wonder at her bleeding hand, she had watched silent and wide eyed as Morrighan created Crowe. If Binah and Chokmah had seen what she was doing, they would have been burnt to a crisp on the spot. But Danu produced a thick white fog that obscured the view of the devine Mother and Father while Morrighan created Crowe. She made him in the same image of the girl, a small child who appeared human - this one a male with tan skin, black hair and dark eyes that contrasted the girls fairness perfectly. His human appearance masked the fact that he could shapeshift into the form of a crow, and because of this feat, Morrighan decided to name him Crowe. While the girl seemed about the age of nine, the boy appeared a few years older than her, approximately twelve human years. The minute his eyes opened, the girl ran to him and he embraced her protectively while looking at Morrighan with wide eyes.
  
  Danu had smiled at the pair as Morrighan had bent down to talk to them. Realising that the girl needed a name, she had turned to Danu and suggested that the girl was half Morrighan and half Danu, so the name should reflect that. Stepping forward, Danu placed her right hand on the girls head, while Morrighan did the same with her left hand.
  
  ~ By the Gods, I name thee Moridanu. May Chokmah and Binah, our Mighty Mother and Father watch over you and keep you safe.~
  
  At their invocation, Chokmah and Binah arrived to bless the child as the thunder and lightning resumed their ancient dance in the stormy sky. As soon as they saw the young boy with his arms around the girl, they knew what Morrighan had done.
  
  Cursing Danu for gaining their attention, Morrighan dissappeared into the stormy night - without so much as a backward glance at her creations. Danu smiled down sadly at the girl who clung to the boy in fear as the wind whipped her amber curls around her head. As a bolt of lightning just missed Danu's left boot she vanished also, leaving the young boy and girl huddled together under the storm that raged over their heads...^^
