Blood Restriction: None, but prefers to feed from the criminal element of the city – you know, the ones who deserve to die.

Sect: Camarilla – Though more or less because he agrees with their ideals and dogma more than any other sect.

Occupation: A psychologist first and foremost but just as happy to play the role of interrogator or detective – someone has to be the monster; someone has to fight the “good” fight.

Hobbies: People-watching, jogging, psychoanalyzing those around him, solving puzzles, reading, making prey out of predators

History: Irrelevant to the dead – or in this case the undead. The now and what is to come are the only things of relevance or importance beyond what lessons you can learn and information you can harness from the past.

If you’re going to be nosy, however, then William worked as a criminal profiler/psychologist in life. He made fairly good acquaintanceship with the ADA and CID in the city he worked in, even went to the shooting range with some of the officers but mostly spent time researching at home – occasionally went out (see hobbies above).

Personality: Coldly logical. Considering his profession in life, it takes either an extremely well-adjusted person or someone who had a beast lurking in his heart to come to terms with becoming a monster -William likes to think he’s a man of reason. He will go to extremely dark places but with greater consideration than anyone may be able to fathom or realize; the ends justify the means and often times you have to do very bad, disturbing, and horrible things for a greater purpose – not everyone can keep their hands clean and the best person to handle monsters is someone who understands what makes them tick.

Reserved - everyone can’t fall to hysterics.

Occasionally witty, though really just creative – boredom is the mother of invention and William can be inventive when his mind is left to idle a little too long or he just has too much time to think, which when you’re effectively immortal you have nothing but time to let your mind run amok. Also, when you’ve made a career of being a psychologist for the criminally insane as well as a profiler you have plenty of fodder to fuel creative…solutions.

Hello Dr. Jekyll, er…hello Mr. Hyde? William has learned not to let people get too close to who he is – or rather was – and so figuring out if the charismatic “man-of-the-people” or the intimidating predator looking at those around him like veal is William’s true self poses a bit of a conundrum. Then again, who says both aren’t the same man?

Methodical – William always seems to be following a formula from the moment he meets someone to the second he brings down his prey. Every action is performed with the goal of achieving a specific reaction. Sometimes he can come off as rude because he’s busy piecing together a profile of someone while they are trying to introduce themselves, and other times downright terrifying because his gaze takes on the feel of a predatory cat rather than a man simply “looking you over”. Purpose, there’s always a purpose.

Coldly Logical: While some might refer to you as a “cold fish,” you have a knack for separating factual reporting from emotional or hysterical coloration. You may or may not be emotional yourself, but you can see clearly when others are clouding the facts with their feelings.

*Note: Dominate replaces the proper Malkavian clan discipline of Dementation - which allows the kindred to inflict madness on others - and technically marks William as Malkavian Antitribu; this sect of the clan is primarily associated with the Sabbat in VtM but others consider the Dominate wielding Malkavians as a sort of bloodline - the main clan proper actually holding a little disdain for them because they'll never be able to truly wield their clan's greatest gift.

As an interesting twist, those Malkavians possessing this discipline are also often afflicted with more introverted derangements and many consider them to be the sadistic answer to the Dementation using Malkavians most look at like babbling fools.

SEX: As a member of the undead, William actually gets no personal gratification out of sexual intercourse; he actually finds it infuriatingly dissatisfying and though he can call upon the blood he's consumed to imitate normal human reactions to sexual stimuli he will not find physical ecstasy outside the kiss.

The Kiss: Ultimate intimacy - probably better known as feeding. This is the vampiric equivalent to sex. This does not mean death for prey but the closer he is to frenzy or the further from control he drifts the more likely death will occur - please don't agitate the vampire if you're not wanting confrontation in some shape or form. (Note: The more potent the blood he drinks the more powerful he can be while it's in his system.)

Consent: I will abide requests to cease and desist unless you wave all rights in advance. While he is young among kindred he is still superior to normal human beings - mages, werewolves, and certain kinds of hunters aside. That said, I want you to have fun and I won't enjoy myself if you aren't having fun. (Not an asshole if I can help it.)

Intellectual Stimulation: I absolutely adore this - not necessarily from the characters but I do enjoy conversation a great deal and enjoy being an ear/shoulder/whatever for people who need it. (Again, not an asshole if I can help it.) It should be noted, however, that if you're looking for feedback or advice I may not always have the words you want to hear though more likely they'll be what you need to hear.
