  • Birth Name: Meredith "Mongo" Wilkes

  • Alias: Mongo preferably, although close friends have called her by her species, as well as Mere, Willie, and "Patches". Mongo was adapted from Mongongo, which is a hardshell egg shaped nut. The caretakers remarked Meredith's cheeks looked like baby eggs when she was an infant, thus they nicknamed her such. (from her ability to repair damaged cloth).

  • Voice Sample: Soft, unknown accent (mostly because I can't tell, but this singer's voice is amazing), raspy in a gentle sense.

  • Build: Tall and toned, slender at best. There are times when a bit of belly pooge (excess weight) will appear on her abdomen, but that indicates she's been depressed. Her figure is generally active and agile, as required by her occupation.

    - Father: Mitchel Wilkes - Manual Worker in a Mine on the Mainland. Recently been in contact. In denial of Meredith being his daughter, although he knows Mitchell Jr. was his son. Refuses to reveal information about Mother, therefore Mongo has stopped asking / caring. The only reason Mongo is aware of Mitchell is because of a caretaker that recognized Mitchell's face.
    - Younger Brother: Mitchell Jr. Wilkes - Previous partner in crime. Deceased due to Pox. Died at twelve

    - Delvin: A long-term 'friend' since childhood, Delvin has been in and out of Mongo's life since she was very young. They were a ruthless pair, even in their adolescence, and the fact Delvin never seems to be too far from her is not only creepy, it's fantastic. Possibly the only person she trusts to let her guard down around, even if he is a fucking cunt.
    - Albe: An alchemist and long-term provider of tonics, potions, and other requested items. While Albe does not participate in criminal acts, his items are sold at The Crook's Nook along with anything else available at the time.

  • Complexion: Milk Chocolate

  • Hair: Varies with her health. A healthy Mongo has a high pony-tail tail that falls between her shoulder blades. An unhappy, unhealthy Mongo has an unkempt mess of strands splattered on top her head like some mental kid's art project. The hair color is dark brown color with blondish roots.

  • Personality: Vulgar, vulgar, vulgar. Blunt, open, playful, illogical values, promiscuous, easily forgets people / objects. A major inability to take people seriously regardless of their audacity or weaknesses. Occasionally selfless, for the right reason.

  • Sexual Tendencies: Open. Anything goes.

  • Accessories: A brown leather backpack (much bigger than depicted) filled with an I.D card, two empty vials, one bruised silver flask, two of her favorite books (self written: "One Trick Coyote" and "Bitches Without Fear", both short fiction), and a worn quilted blanket used for setting up shop. Also holds mortar and pestle, capsules of oils and dried scents, tonics when available, assorted beads and feathers, colorful yarn and clay molds.

  • Jewelry: Upper canines of Mitchell Jr.s mouth necklace, hemp and cotton bracelets on each wrist. Four per arm.

  • Clothing: Cream cashmere hooded poncho with cotton frills and twin pockets (Design). A black and white semi-checkered scarf (Design). Stretchy black leggings and black suede fur boots (Design). Hunting knife holsters for each thigh, each hidden beneath the poncho.

  • Physical Appearance: Heart-shaped face, small nose with a softly defined bridge, small and somewhat narrow silver-blue eyes with full proportioned lips. Her ears are elven-esque, some would even say impish. The only attribute providing her subspecies is her tail; thin that grows bushier as it reaches the tip.

  • Weapons: Hunting knife(s). Hardly used for causing harm to others, just for simple tasks encountered while traveling.

  • Issues: Nervous breakdowns, anxiety, hypochondria, conceitedness, chain smoking*, drug abuse.

  • Likes: Music, dancing, singing, stealing, things that mean jack shit to her but the world to someone else--perfect for profit, quilting, writing, arts and crafts, storytelling, talking, fish, sourdough bread, white meats, comedy, erotica, drum circles, cats all day.

  • Dislikes: Attention seekers, thief competition, blackmailers, typical women, typical men, predictable people, authorities.

  • Favorite Terms: Cunt, snatch, cuckold, personal terminology that will not make sense to outsiders.

  • Scars:Delvin's initials in her left hand, on the palm just below the thumb. Scar is puffy, as if seared on. Middle of palm has small crescent moon, symbolizing their obsession with night prowling.

  Uh Oh, Feral!

  • Length: 76 inches + 11 inches tail.

  • Stands: 60 inches from paws to tip of ears.

  • Shifts?:[/b] At will. This form is normally taken when she doesn't want to (or can't) deal with tight situations. Many wont recognize her in this form, unless it's been introduced to them personally.

• Orphan 1, 2, 3!

  • Dropped off at an Orphanage approximately when she was eight months old.

  • Raised primarily by Nuns and wealthy religious figures.

  • Around age six began to take a liking to business management. Started her own fundraisers (sold incense, beads and dream catchers, all personally crafted) for the Orphanage, although it really didn't need the extra help. A figure of management decided to put the money Mongo raised toward an educational fund without Mongo's knowing.

  • From age nine to twelve, Mongo is submitted into an institutionalized education center. Parental figures acknowledge her learning progression is slower than most, and use the fundraising money to hire a private tutor. The tutor, a flamboyantly gay teenage male, is famed for his artistic capabilities. He (Wilson) proceeds to teach Mongo literature, multiple crafting, and dancing.

  • Mongo takes a major liking to literature and demands her elders (mostly Wilson) read to her. At fourteen she writes her first short story, which was published in the Orphanage's section of the newspaper in order to promote Mongo's chances to be adopted.

  • For her sixteenth birthday the Orphanage sends her to an art gallery where she reads her revised short story aloud. Audience gave mixed feelings about it, but the majority of them enjoyed her writing and encouraged her to pursue a career. Wilson is no longer her tutor for he has moved to an Island for performance measures.

  • During another fundraiser, this time to put money toward publishing her first short story professionally, another orphan steals her script and sells it. At the time Mongo was not able to make copies, as she'd have to hand write it all. Falls into depression, also begins shifting from human to [full & feral] coydog. It was speculated that her age triggered the shift, but also her mental health at the time.

  • Mistaken for a stray dog at eighteen, she is 'adopted' as a pet. Coincidentally the household she's 'adopted' into has the original copy of her manuscript. This is the first session of thieving she commits, and it gives her a strong sense of confidence she could easily do it again.

  • Controversy and age force her out of her living situation. All of the money Management saved is handed back to her, and is enough to give her a decent living on the Mainland. Despite the Orphanage Management's disappointment with her, she donates, anonymously, fair amounts of currency to ensure the children and staff live healthily. (At this point there is a drastic budget cut to the Orphanage due to overpopulation, Mongo becomes aware of).

  • Spends her early twenties perfecting her next publishable story, using the currency received from stealing from the wealth that cut her home's spending. Aside from this, she takes up trades: sewing, art of incense making, quilting, knife play, scout knowledge, self defense.
