UNIQUE FEATURES
Lance's only telling feature that he's something other than human would be his eye color--his crimson gaze is often a little off-putting, and while he has no real way to hide it he can sometimes play it off as a trick of the light. His skin is also quite pale, though it never makes him look sickly.
ADDITIONAL FORMS
Thanks to the Emerson family blood, Lance is able to take an additional form known as a "Night Hunter"; it was developed as a black magic shapeshifting technique to help the vampire family turned vampire hunters take down their own kind and it's unique to their bloodline. He is able to take the form of a large bat and dog-like demon, much like these lovely beasties from the Castlevania series. In this form his glowing fangs can pierce nearly any material, infect venom into his prey, he has sharp-as-daggers claws, and gains the ability to fly with bat-like wings. However, he doesn't have much control over this form and often ends up more beast than man as far as his actions go. This monster has a bloodthirst that is largely unmatched and it's also known as the vampire stalker, the creature often thirsting more for the blood of the undead than any living blood. He can be forced into this form through severe hunger or pain.
STRENGTHS AND ABILITIES
He has superhuman strength and speed, can turn invisible for short periods of time via hiding in the shadows, his eyes have hypnotic qualities to them (allowing him to alter others' thoughts to make them less wary of him--he can't actually control anyone via mind control this way, however), can shapeshift into his beast form at will (see above description), is able to manipulate blood (even when it's still inside the body--the result is him being able to "puppet" bodies around)
WEAKNESSES
His skin suffers severe burns in direct sunlight and he can potentially turn to ash if forced to remain out in it for too long, must feed on human blood regularly in order to survive, severe injury can kill him (contrary to legend it doesn't have to be a stake through the heart), his mind is often his own weakness--he easily dwells too long on mistakes, is obsessed with revenge and the idea of "an eye for an eye", and tends to over-commit to something even though deep down he knows it's wrong
ATTITUDE
Lance is a reserved intellectual with a silver tongue. He speaks quite formally as a habit he picked up from reading more than his fair share of classic literature and he never shies away from giving reading suggestions. Most of his spare time is spent in classic books textbooks, as he has a fondness for learning all that he can about anything that interests him. He often uses his way with words to his advantage, able to convince others that his way is best even if it could cause them some pretty serious harm. He's generally easy to like even though he can come off as a bit of a high class snob at times, which is incredibly dangerous considering who and what he is. He cares about very few people on a personal level, however, so has a way of dismissing others with subtle, polite insults if he doesn't think they're worth his time. He's rather vindictive, can hold a grudge for an eternity, and finds that revenge is sweetest when taken for yourself.
