Backstory - Constantly updated
Lemon Narissa Maribel Marshall was born 18, almost 19 years ago on December 12th. Parents, Rose-Blossom (Yes, really,) and Jonathan Marshall raised her in a fairly upper class environment. The first 11 years of her life were simple, though extravagant. She was not quite a troublesome child, making friends easily, and behaving, almost too well. However, she struggled with bullying in school for her first name of Lemon. She started going by one of her middle names, Narissa, when she was 11.
When she was 12, it became obvious her father had issues, not just with gambling, but cheating, when he left Rose for another woman after about two years of having an affair with her. Devastated, and angry, Rose sued him for almost all he was worth, including the company they had developed together. Giving her full ownership, and plenty of money to raise her only daughter all on her own.
It was around this time however, that Narissa, now going by Narx, became a more unruly, troublesome child. High School was the turning point for her, as she started dressing more provocatively, less posh, stopped straightening her hair, wearing very little makeup, smoking, drinking, going to more parties, and getting into trouble with her best friend Vivian Kingsley.
Everyone always claimed Narx was just a rich girl who decided to act out for no reason, but, she doesn't see it as acting out. She is just being herself, and herself happens to be what her mother disapproves of. She never did any hard drugs, but that doesn't stop Rose from accusing her of such, they have a very strained relationship; her relationship with her father is even worse. She hears from him maybe twice a year, and she's just find with that. Considering his new wife, not the one he left Rose for, but another woman he left the other woman after rose for, classy, is only two years older than Narissa.
When Narx was seventeen years old, she was at a party per usual, drinking, a lot more than she usually did because she was upset about a guy she liked rejecting her. She just wanted to have fun with people, dancing, playing spin the bottle, eating snacks, playing Just Dance. Sex was not on her list of activities. In fact, despite her reputation for being
'a slut' Narissa was very much still a virgin.
She ended up being dragged into a seven minutes in heaven spin the bottle game, and the bottle landed on football player Jackson Gilbert. Drunk, dizzy, barely able to comprehend what exactly was going on, Narx was pulled laughing into the closet with Jackson. Though she was too drunk to really fight him off, Jackson was well aware that she was too drunk to be having sex, with, as he had been barely drinking at all.
Narissa spent seven minutes, confused, nervous, and in pain as Jackson took her virginity. She didn't quite understand what had happened until several days later, and to this day it's hard to her to admit that he raped her.
Four weeks later, Narx discovered she was pregnant. Not only had he raped her, but he didn't even have the common sense to pull out it seemed...
Scared, and unsure what to do, Narissa hid the fact that she was pregnant from everyone but Vivian for a solid month and a half, until she finally told her mother. Deciding to carry the pregnancy to full term, but uncertain what she was going to do afterwards. Having to stop smoking was the cherry on top of all the other issues during pregnancy she dealt with.
Several months later she gave birth to a lovely baby girl via c-section, as giving birth naturally presented too many risks for her. Deciding in that moment, she was going to keep her; her mother, though disapproving in many of her choices, was supportive, and continues to help her raise Rayna Marshall. Near the end of her senior year, Narx told Jackson Rayna is his daughter, and he told her he didn't want anything to do with the situation, or Rayna.
However, when Narx started dating Kullen a guy who had been crushing on her since middle school, Jackson suddenly became really possessive, and angry with her. Narx had been crushing on Ryker Hawkins she she was a preteen, but, she felt that was something that just wouldn't happen, and she cared for Kullen a lot, so she decided to stick with him since he seemed really supportive, and was the kind of guy she wasn't used to having in her life; but she was never entirely certain if she was in love with him. Not until it was too late.
Several weeks later, almost nearing summer break, Kullen was killed in a dirt bike racing accident; and Narissa has suspected and blamed Jackson, but has been unable to find proof... Narx has spent summer break with her daughter, and preparing to go to college. She feels lost, without Kullen, Vivian going to a college across the country, and knowing she'll only get to see her daughter on the weekends if that. Part of her feels like everything is her fault; her rape, Kullen dying...
