Tam'nýer—a''s Character Workshop is a group built for the purpose of helping you, the members of the RPR community, become shining members of the Tam'nýer—a' Family. A little group of people we collectively have dubbed "Tam Fam."

I'm so glad you've asked and become curious. Tam'nýer—a''s Character Workshop is here to provide a public forum for those who have been extremely curious about joining this wondrous world of fantasy. We've grown to be a large group, but we want to keep growing. In our hunt to formulate a way to make it even easier for people to become a part of our little community, we wanted to offer an actual helping hand for those that are curious but perhaps a little shy about reaching out to individual people.

In this group we intend to provide flourishing and growing examples of characters that have become a loving part of our group, build a character alongside our community members and staff, and gain help along the way.

What this group is not intended to do is build the character for you. We're here to offer ideas, critique ideas, and encourage even better ones. We're here to help you through your own creative process and build you up while you build your character.

It's a treat to see people bursting with ideas, and we love to see what Tam'nýer—a' can provide for those who are looking for even more creative outlets.

Our mission is to provide the best possible environment for a roleplaying group, and to help you become a part of that group.

Often times it can be overwhelming, intimidating even, for writers to join in on any writing group. It can be especially overwhelming when the group they want to join is as expansive and active as our own. While we are not the most expanded upon group, nor are we the largest, we do take great pride in the fact that Tam'nýer—a' is an absolutely massive world with an abundance of lore that can swallow people whole.

We want to eliminate as much of the stigma that is there about joining large groups as possible, create a comfortable environment, and help people enjoy the massive fantasy world that is Tam'nýer—a'.

Tam'nýer—a''s Character Workshop is designed in mind for those who want to create a character but find the bulk of the lore a little too overwhelming. While we haven't removed any of the requirements to actually read the lore itself to understand it, nor have we made a "summary" of the lore, we have decided to provide a place where non-members can collaborate more openly with our current members as well as our staff members.

This group is 18+ only because of the nature of the lore and content within the main roleplaying group.
