A blue bear with a black eyes, white paws and a red bow. That's what Lily held in her arms. The bear her mom gave her before she died. Lily wiped her now tear stained face with the back of her white sleeve, trying to forget her bad dream. She looked over at the alarm clock on her bedside table. 1:38AM.
Its been rough recently. Three weeks earlier your mom died, which is her mom too. You're her brother. Your dad was no longer in your life, and you're old enough to be a legal gaurdian, so you take Lily in, not wanting her to be adopted by a random family. Sure, Lily's devestated, but you're crushed too. You both try to cheer each other upconstantly, but sometimes it isn't enough.
Lily quietly got out of bed and peeks out her door, not wanting to go back to sleep.
