If you're interested in partaking of my inaugural first RP here and have a character in need of a protector-type, you've come to the right place. If you're a villain in need of somewhere to perform some villainy, you are certainly welcome to join in! I could definitely use a good villain.
Tech and magic allowed. The RP can 1x1 or up to three or four people, depending on how well we gel; allowing more after that would be a group decision. What I've got so far is basically background and setup for how or why our characters would meet. Protector type of character would obviously work well with someone to protect. Any gender, age, class, or species. If your character is non-human, all the better - I think it could lead to a bit of humor.
Essentially, a soldier from our world is dropped into the fantasy/sci-fi world of RP. The setting will be a temperate forest just after dawn. My character will be alone when yours runs by and asks for help, quite obviously being chased by something and in fear for their life. If you've got storyline to bring to the table, great! If not, we can kill some orcs. Although I'm not intending for this to lead to a long-term RP, I am open to it.
I'm introducing a character here in hopes of finding a good group to RP with on the regular. Figured I could put something in the public RP forum for everyone to see what I'm made of, before anything else.

Well, I can't really say that my character really needs a protector type. But he could someone to talk to him. If you're character knows how to deal with his horrible personality, I think they might get along.
I'm not entirely sure about the "get along" part, but I'm definitely up for them meeting. Sometimes the best RPs happen because of some unrest.
If you don't mind, the RP will remain open for others to join in, even if my character doesn't need to act as a protector.
Edit: Actually, after thinking about it a bit, I think it could be quite the enjoyable conversation to have them meet, if they're not both buddy-buddy. I'll start it in the public Fantasy forum.
