I know the title sounds strange but I have been getting pretty annoyed with having great rp ideas but always seeming to get people who are new here and new to roleplaying so it isn't as fun when I write long and detailed replies and only get a couple sentences, so I want to go ahead and say this.

I really want someone that can meet up to these simple things:

• Has a good bit of experience in either roleplaying or writing good stories
• Can at least give about one to two paragraphs in response
• Will help contribute to the plot in the roleplay
• Have proper grammar and spelling
• Won't take over the whole RP(I have had that happen one too many times)
• And well willingly talk about the plot instead of just jumping in.

That is all. I wouldn't think it is that hard to find someone like that. I am sorry if this seems a bit snotty. I just really, really, really, really want to find a great rp to do.

My only sci-fi post, A World Devoid, is a baby. So far, I've gotten 1 person to reply. We're looking for more players. It would be really dandy if you would care to join in.
I'd also probably recommend making a new character for this. It's kinda unique.

I'm new to this site, but I have been roleplaying for years. While I usually use a script format, I do have practice with paragraph. Maybe we could RP something (I certainly love plot and develoment)?

You say "paragraphs"; I ask "how many?"
Oddly, I have trouble writing just one paragraph or less. Though I have to agree on the grammar/spelling note - it shouldn't be that difficult, especially with spellcheck and Google. Even some I would consider "good" players have trouble, even if only because they try to crank out posts fast

However, I would ask that you please don't beg for rapid-fire posts. Sometimes I can, other times my brain wanders and doesn't come back for a while. It's annoying for me as well because I want to write, dagnabit! It usually doesn't last for longer than a few days, though, so it's not that huge of a problem. Just an occasional issue >.<

I would be more than interested, especially if you are looking for a realistic, well thought-through plot and a long-term roleplay partnership. Let me know if you are interested and I can provide you with samples of my writing style if you want to.

@MajorNoku: Do you mind sending me like a little something you have? Just like an example of your roleplaying style. Over my two years here, I have taken notice that with every different person, each have a diferent style, some people fit together, some don't.

@Caustic: I am fine with like a paragraph, but I do ask that you are able to try to put the effort into the roleplay. Like, I don't want to be the one that is stuck with writing most of the rp and getting close to nothing in return. Also, the replies don't have to be rapid-fast, I would like to at least get a few during the week(I am about to go on to Spring break.)

@December: That is lovely! I do try my best to find good rp partners that can help me think of a plot together and have well thought out characters as well(I have delt with characters that were undeveloped and it lead to Godmodeling.) If you do not mind, I would love to see an example of your style.

To all of you. I probably won't reply back till 4:12pm, Eastern time. I am currently at school and just finished duing the tests we have been working on. I look forward to hopefully working on a roleplay together with each one of you(I do mean individually.)

Just shoot me a PM and I am down and we can figure out what we both think sounds like a good place to start. I am experienced. Been doing this about ten years. Only recently getting into the forum way of doing it, I've done IM and Furcadia for the most of it all.

Trust me, I know that feeling Some people I've had to deal with just don't get that a 1-sentence reply to three paragraphs is actually insulting.
Then again, there are times that I've written several page's worth just to get across a two-sentence idea *probably exaggerated a little* .__.

As for the time issue, a couple times a week is not too hard. Just that at some places expect-- no, practically demand that one post every couple of hours, at minimum, and the occasional person who posts a thousand posts an hour (and not just one-line-wonders either, somehow) and gets antsy if you make them wait more than a day or two. That is a bit much for me to keep up with, since I'm not just solely focused upon RPing usually .__.

I once wrote 3 or 4 paragraphs about sitting down to eat a fruit. Does that count?

But what else am I supposed to do? You never really gave anything back. You just replied with the tiniest amount of detail .-.

@Caustic: I understand that. I have written a great deal of a reply on just what my character looked like. I am usually not like that, only when I have been deprived of rp quite a bit. Also, I use a lot of imagery just when I am talking though, my characters, I don't think really use imagery.

@DontBeTrippin: Dude, you would give SUPER LONG replies and I would sit there, read the whole thing and be like "Shit.... I don't know how to reply." You could have tried to given me a little room to work my character in. I had really tried to think of replies but you replied like you were writing a book instead of answering to a roleplay.

@Macopin: I don't think I will join. I am not really a Sci-Fi person. I wish you the best of luck though!

Thank you. It is easier to reply when I have room to put have my character react.

For some reason, I occasionally get stuck writing just what my character is thinking. Sometimes just that with maybe a quick reply to something done or said... I don't know if that counts as filler or not.

Right now I have the spaztic psychotic do-gooder and the quiet anti-hero chicks, and a dopey bard-ish guy who could plop into several eras (the only male charrie I've actually tried to make... ever). If you think either of those would work for something, great! If not, I can probably think of something a little less extreme. I tend to aim for the extreme ends of whatever personality spectrum I'm aiming for, though, because I find middle-road / mellow characters to be boring when I try to do them

I know that. If my characters are talking about their past, you can imagine a REALLY long reply.

Omg. Not expected characters. O.O I think the spaztic psychotic do-gooder might be fun to have mess with Zoe after the demon awakens in her body. A gang leader and psychotic do-gooder, this could not go wrong. I love messing around with my characters and putting them in strange situations.

It is 2pm where I am. I have been in and out of sleep all morning, not wanting to get up but finally decided to get up because I wanted to play around on my Wacom and reply to my messages.

Haven't slept at all since... 10:30PM yest. Then again, I haven't done a 24-hour marathon in a loooong while. Might be about time to do one

I haven't done that since I was six. Latest I have stayed up was until 6am then went to bed and woke up at 2pm.

Neither am I. We need to think of more on what to do with this. PM me? So we can try discussing a plot.
