Hello.

Akadra here, the name may imply femininity but I can assure you that I am in fact a male of the human genus. I have been roleplaying avidly for a few years now and tend to write with as much detail as possible but I am not sure how it works on this site.
Tips appreciated.

Welcome to the RPR. RPing around here is widely variable. There are people from all different kinds of RP backgrounds with all different kinds of preferences and tastes. Some choose to play on the forums here, while others just browse for interesting characters and then contact the players to arrange to play with them elsewhere, perhaps through a specific game or instant messenger. There's also a feature in the works called "Groups" that will let people form their own groups and guilds with their own forums for more private RPs here, but that's still a few weeks off from release.

If you have something in mind that you're looking for in a RP, it seems fairly effective to just describe that and ask if anyone else is interested too.
