Hi, well I'm wanting to do a small RP in the Firefly universe after the events of the Serenity movie.
*Spoiler Alert* *Spoiler Alert* If you haven't seen the movie but wanna know, at the end Mal sends a broadcast to the planets in the Universal Alliance that shows the reavers are a Alliance experiment gone wrong. *Spoiler Alrt* *Spoiler Alert*
I have a few ideas for this, they all revolve around a single crew caught in the middle of the events that I think would occur after the events of Serenity.
Plot 1:
With the Planets of the Universal Alliance in uproar over the news that the greatest threat to humanity was caused by their own reckless government the people are revolting and a new rebellion forms. For this one it could go a few ways, your crew could support the alliance or the rebels or even both and split the crew. There could be opportunities for combat with the conflict picking up pace across the galaxy.
Plot 2:
While the people are unsettled by the events that unfold they are more concerned with the rising encounters with the reavers. For some reason the reavers have started leaving the outer rim and have been attacking deeper in towards the core worlds. With many of the Universal Alliance ships destroyed the Alliance is weak and vulnerable to attack. With this one it could be a game of survival dodging reavers as they plunder the known universe. Another way could be joining the Alliance and trying to fend them off and perhaps eventually destroying the reaver threat. Finally it could be a simple gathering of rag tag survivors putting up a stand against the onslaught of reavers and likely bandits as well.
Plot 3:
This one is more calm then the others, there are no major side effects of Mal's efforts and the universe continuous on. The Alliance is still in control, the reavers are still roaming around the edge of the known galaxy, and the outter planets are left to rot. With this one the options are limitless could play a cargo ship/ smuggler like the show. A security force or member of the alliance just carrying on with your typical duties. Or maybe a group of scientist or bandit... this one like all I'm really open to suggestions.
Like I said this is all still in the planning phases and can be manipulated to fit better. I would be up for one or a mix of all three if someone is interested. Along with that if you have your own little idea I would love to hear or post it here. I'm not sure how many people I would want in this one I would ask that you be a bit on the active side but other then that I'm open for suggestions.

This sounds like a fun idea, I'm a firefly fan and often wondered about an rp. As for the plot ideas they all sound fantastic, but I like options two and three the best. I'm going to see if I can come up with a character for this.

Well, that is true. But thinking of those plots was pretty genius.
I'm down. I've tried running some Firefly themed RPs before, but they petered out. Regardless, I'm always ready to rebuild Tyler for another go-around.
