Hello! I've got a brand new character for the new year! He's a guard for hire, and I'm looking to do some character development for him. His personality and history are a bit vague right now, so I'm hoping some RP can help with that.
He's been created for a fantasy setting. He can be hired for protection on journeys or simple trips from city to city. He could also be hired by a lord or lady who may believe they are in some kind of danger. He works with a sword and shield, isn't too good with a bow (at all, actually,) and carries some smaller blades hidden in various spots throughout his outfit (which is under construction at the moment, heh...)
Romance is possible, but totally not necessary. He tries to remain professional, but once he becomes comfortable enough, he also becomes friendlier. No underage characters, please!
If he's not needed for protection, he could definitely just travel with a person/group of people who may need help with something, or are just looking for company.
I work in the morning, so I'll only be able to reply during afternoons or nights.
I'm totally open to ideas and plots, long term and short term. Just let me know!

You got me thinking about Annani deciding that extra protection would help her stay more at ease. Having someone around that she isn't trying to get to leave her be could prove interesting. Maybe she could inadvertently finally connect with someone.
The personality that I'm trying to develop for Hector would definitely be an interesting match with Annani's. I'm in! Is there any specific story line or setting you would like to work with?

I've got ... one idea.
Instead of guarding someone, he has to guard something. He's hired to watch over a dangerous captive creature for a short term period (a few months). The shortness of the job is due to not only because the creature is dangerous, but it's also intelligent, and its ramblings can drive people mad. He'd be paid handsomely to watch this creature and make sure it doesn't escape.

Are you open to RPing with anthropomorphic characters?
I'm brand new to this and probably not the best way to go about this but I'm also trying to develop a character if you hear about an RP that's looking for a guard or mercenary with a few screws loose please let me know
