Using my Diclonius character Eden.
She's a developing character, and I'd prefer a male character.
She's based off the series Elfen Lied, but you don't have to know it to roleplay with me/her.
Long winded explanation of what she is, and what this will mean in the plot
Eden is a new sub-species of human known as a Diclonius, this species is identifiable by the white pieces
of bone/cartilage protruding from their heads that look somewhat like cat ears or horns (depending on perspective of course).
The government is trying to keep this sub-species under wraps and away from public knowledge.
Why? Because the 'horns' they have are not the only thing they have.
They have Vectors, a trait of Diclonius which are invisible (to humans) hands/arms. These vectors have the ability to manipulate objects and are precise enough to have cutting power, and can be very destructive when unleashed. They are telekinetic in nature, and can seemingly break bonds at the molecular level.
They can also usually extend much farther than a humans reach (example; twelve meter reach).
But the worst part is these Diclonius are more emotional than humans, and tend to have violent outbursts. And through studies, have been shown to have instincts to kill humans. Scientists believe it is a trait that is trying to have the Diclonius as the new 'master race' and eradicate humans. MOST Diclonius cannot reproduce however (though some can). Instead, when their Vector passes through a male without killing them, it changes the genetics within their sperm so that any child they have will be born a Diclonius.
The government has killed most infants born a Diclonius, but of course they are greedy and keep others to experiment on and perhaps use as weapons within a high-tech facility.
Down to the point. Your character needs to be an older male,either a sort of bounty hunter under contract with the government to keep her under control and work with her (have two partners for mercenary, only looking for scientist/government worker now), or (preferably) a very smart scientist who eventually becomes obsessed with the Diclonius and with Eden. And with this, despite the experiments and such, attempts to try to bond with her (reasons up to you), but eventually this spawns an abusive and dark romance between the two. Where the scientist or hunter/caretaker becomes abusive to have her listen to him, and she perhaps hurts him as well (this could have some action scenes of course, and even some cat and mouse if she tries to escape~).
I need my partner to be 18+ please and alright with gore, sexual themes, dark romances, ect.
I prefer semi-literate at least a well written sentence per reply. I don't want to read huge books, but a few paragraphs are fine. (The reason I don't enjoy long-winded posts are I find the plot progresses immensely slowly).

Updated. Have two partners for mercenary. So only looking for the scientist/government worker variant now.
Also, if things go nicely and inspire me during the rp, I might sketch our characters together~

Also, I've found I prefer partners that contribute a bit to moving the plot forward.
It's hard and not very fun to think of everything yourself.
Also, it's modern day... it's only 'sci-fi' because of the fact of Eden's species and the facility really.
But your character doesn't have to be super futuristic or anything like that.
I'm also open to other ideas of dark romance partners though.

Hello! I was wondering if I could fill in the role of the government worker. But I was thinking my character (Desmond) is a counsellor/chaplain attempting to make a bond with Eden, so it could ensue some pretty interesting stuff. He's also psychic if that's alright with you.
