So hi, I haven't roleplayed in a while but I'd like to get right back into it with something fun and interesting.

I've got these two characters that have monster versions and separate human alternate universe versions for different types of rps (I do have more characters, haha, I just really like these guys.) They're a bit jerky, morally grey sort of characters that are twisted but pretty interesting and I'd like to experiment with playing them, either versions, and throwing them in some sort of plot. Because that's what you do with your characters, right? Whether it's oddly fluffy (while still keeping their questionable character in order) or totally dark, I'm up for it. I can also rp with both of 'em or only one, whatever suits your fancy.

Anyway, I don't have any super specific plot ideas (and don't even always have those in general when writing) but I have some genre ideas/preferences and themes I generally like, as specified in the title. I suggest taking a look at my character profiles as well for a better idea of things, plus my own profile.

'Ello, I'd like to plot away at this. Sounds like a blast especially if you're keen on the monsters idea. In that case though, I've to ask - do your characters alternate between human and monster forms or do you consider their AU versions separate characters?

I've got other monsters to offer as well as detectives, crime allegiance companies and all kinds assassins to offer. as well as some characters that pursue monsters. Not hunters, but rather scientific/religious extremists that exploit monsters.

As monsters, they can/choose to take on fairly humanoid forms normally, although there are some triggers for getting them into a more monstrous state as well. Their AU versions are mostly separate characters. Those things all sound quite fun! I've written a scientific extremist group that created monsters for the sake of forcing humans to evolve before, which was pretty fun to play with. Anyway, point is that's all good stuff, it's rather hard to choose something from such good options. I have a lot of additional characters that I could put in settings like that as well, if needed.

My monsters are humanoid as well. They're mostly demons - I've a solid collection of those. I just now recalled I had a pair of siblings that are similar to yours. They're monstrous twins only one of which exists in this universe in human form - the other exists in something like a void and powers their sibling. Basically only one of them can exist in the actual universe. They've devised a way to transfer their power onto a weapon and can switch around the universes through the blade.
I can offer other such oddities if you feel like RPing with something else. I have all the typical monsters and a few werewolves I favor that are slightly unorthodox.
