Ideally looking for human characters, gender matters not. Blutooth the wolf finds humans really rather intriguing, always has done, and it is possible that, while looking around one of the many villages he walks through, he would discover either a human in distress, or maybe some dastardly plan he'd try to debunk. He doesn't speak English, yet can understand it.
The setting could be anything from a modern day kind of thing, to something taking place in the Viking era.
