Well, it's fairly simple. You all were either in my way, or essential to my success. Each of you possess an ability, though I'm not sure which ability you possess individually. I am certain that, through much appropriate testing, we'll find out in time.
You might also notice. Or, maybe you haven't. You aren't in your original form. You've been mutated. Changed. Into the very thing you controlled, tamed even. You're all Pokemon.
Some like to refer to you as Gijinka. A form of being that can mutate back and forth between human and Pokemon. But, alas, you are not yet capable of that. I intend to keep it that way. If you ever want to return back to your homes with your Pokemon safely intact. I suggest you listen to my orders.

You all found an orb, which is now attached to your body by some form of a necklace, bracelet, earring, etc. This orb, will also allow you into your room. Each orb is different and will only access that door. So, don't get any ideas.
Do not remove them if you want to live. They make you capable of being a Gijinka.
The thing is, I need a certain few of you, though I'm not sure which few. The only way I can find it, is if you battle. Through that. I will see your worth. Your abilities will come out. And the faster I find that person, the faster you all can go home. If, it's

HAI GAIS. Okay, ^ This is completely open to suggestions. I can take criticism very well. It is actually welcomed. I would like everyone to give an input if they wish. I have rules for this RP, nothing major, but they're necessary to make it work. I'll list it later on in this intro. I want the whole plot, setting and ending to surprise the people not participating in the background work. ON TO TEH RULES.
1. Everyone gets an ability. Everybody must be different.
Abilities- Please note that all of these are not actual Pokemon abilities. The ability of the Pokemon you choose to play can still be used.
Closed forecast: When you have control over this ability you can either stop the weather conditions and their effects or you can enhance them to serve your well being in a fight.
Adrenaline Rush: When the Pokemon's status is at risk, or it's HP is low, their power spikes at an enormous amount.
Dying wish: When the user is about to faint, they have one final wish that will allow them to give their remaining power to take their enemy with them, or if they're in a team, give their remaining power to their partner in some form.
10x: When the Pokemon is hit with a physical contact making move, it takes the hit, and however damaging the attack done to that Pokemon, his attack hits the foe with twice as much velocity.
-These are just a few I've come up with off the top of my head, if you have any suggestions, again feel free to add to this, I'll add them to the rules sheet and update it.

3. Please come up with a Gijinka form. I like to see pictures of the characters. Not really a rule. Just a suggested suggestion.
4. When you make your Gijinka, refer to my 'Jirachi' profile for Guidelines. You can add what you want, or simplify it, but I would like for that General information to be there. Your Gijinka can have 6 moves instead of the traditional 4.
5. This isn't so much a rule, more as another suggestion, I don't know how you all RP, probably have your own unique style. Try to use it along the lines of...
" Jirachi bolts towards her opponent mumbling under her breath, "I'm done." With a sort of growl, she stretched her arm behind her, her hand forming into a fist. Sparks of electricity engulfing it more and more with the passing seconds. She extended her arm in an upper cut fashion, the electricity soaring through her opponents body as she made contact. She ran past him a bit before coming to a halt. Her back to the target, he awaited the results of her attack."
^ Alright. So, that isn't awesome. But, it shows that it's in 3rd person, it's kind of detailed. [ >__>; Again, I know it's not great. ], and you know. It isn't God modded. Wacha.
6. You can choose to fight in either Gijinka form or Pokemon form. You need to choose carefully, because your choice could either slow you down, speed you up, increase your strength, or weaken you a bit.
Gjinka v. Typhlosion? ----> Not so great. You'll be torched. Well, not really, but it's more effective. Pokemon form maintains more power, as Gijinka form lets you be more swift. Yada, yada. You get it.
7. On a side note, anyone ever played Nintendo 64? Of course you have. Pokemon stadium? This sort of reminds me of it. Happy thoughts. ~

Seems sound to me but at the same time I'm making it my momentary duty to inform you that if this is supposed to be for the RP itself, we do have IC forums here just for that purpose. My honest belief is that it would probally go best under General. And don't worry about it if it is. I'm sure one of the moderators or Kim wouldn't have a problem relocating it for us.

This. Sounds. Awesome. I read the italic part to my friend through the phone and she also says that it's awesome. o3o So wait, lemme get this straight--we're gonna start as a Pokemon or a Gijinka? Or maybe the definition of Gijinka is different for us...I see Gijinkas as a person yet has some Pokemon 'characteristics' like the ears of a Pikachu or a tail of an Espeon or something...>_<

I look at a Gijinka as s a form of anthropomorphism where more qualities are given to non-human beings, objects, concepts, or phenomena. Basically, they get their powers, some looks to them, abilities, etc, etc.
How were gonna start the RP off is everyone will be reading the letter in their own room, that was mentioned above, and they reflect of how they came to find their orb and so on and so forth, I think.
Again, open to suggestions.
