Basic concept, Fighters from all around battling for their freedom and the chance to bring ultimate power to their home planet. More than just straight fights though, was kinda hoping for actual story between characters while they are all trapped there
Sounds reeeallly interesting!! I'd be game! Don't have a current character on here that would fit (they're all medieval/fantasy types) but I'd totally make one for this!

Thanks guys I appreciate the response soon here I'll post the rules for fighting. Also I wanted to point out that you can use this experience of your characters in your future stories with them. Whatever abilities, power, friends or pain your characters experience I want them to keep

So what are the guide lines for fighters, can they be normal humans that are great fighters?
Yes human characters will be given equilizers for the more powerful magic users, creatures, and machines

Anyway like I said here are the rules for fighting in the Arena
1. Absolutely no God Modding, Powerful characters are most definitely wanted, however you will be fighting each other and their powerhouse characters. For the sake of the story obviously not everyone can win, this shouldn't discourage you from giving 110% into the fight.
2. Fatal blows. This arena features a very unique magical spell, it nullifies death after a fatal wound. If you really want to know the details behind this spell, PM me and i'll type you a rather lengthy post on the physics behind it. What this means is that any Biological Life Form will not be killed in the arena even if the have received a fatal blow. Machines are exempt from this as they can be rebuilt.
3. Storyline. While this is a story based around fighting, there will still be character development throughout. A likely chance is that your character will have to fight someone they've developed a bond or relationship with. We must keep in mind Character feelings within the realm of battle. Your CHARACTERS are fighting each other, not you.
4. NO GOD MODDING. I cannot stress this enough, take the hit if it makes sense to. If I determine that someone is god modding they will receive a warning, after that sorry pal. God Modding is the bane of good Rp fights.
5. Victory and Defeat. Obviously not every character can win, as it is an arena, however this shouldn't discourage you from fighting even if your character has lost. Death is nullified so your character won't die even if they receive a fatal blow. We want to make this as much of a story as it is a fight Rp.
6. No holds barred. You are encouraged to bring out even the mightiest and most over powered techniques, spells and technology to the fights. Unless you think it would better the story for your character not to, i leave that up to you
7. NO FLIPPIN GOD MODDING. This is the most important rule, God modding is a cancer to battle Rp's. No body wants to fight against someone they can't do anything about, especially when their posts don't make sense to what they are doing and just saying it misses.
That's about it, if you have any questions PM me and i'll be happy to answer them. I will be creating the Rp tomorrow
