Dean lay on the cold hard floor of his garage. Beaten half to death by a gang. He could barely keep his eyes open let alone fight for his life yet he persisted. Edging ever so slowly to the garage door provided way too much effort than he could muster. Getting there was the challenge, now... Just open the door...
His blood covered hands kept slipping on everything they touched causing him to come crashing down each try. It only further worsened his injuries.
"h-heeelp... Please" his cries were barely a whisper, nobody on the outside would hear him...

"AL...most..got..it" he tried to give himself hope. Failing every time.
His final attempt had him hook his index finger on the handle edge but darkness covered his eyes in an instant. Now knocked out cold and bleeding against the door to his possible survival. His life hung by a thread.
