I got to see a recording of the Australian production of Love Never Dies. It's awesome!! For those that don't know what that is, it's the sequel to Phantom of the Opera. Anybody else get a chance to see it? At the movies or otherwise?
I heard about that during the previews at the last two movies I watched. Aside from that... I'm not really familiar with it. It looked pretty good from the preview, however!

I'm Australian.. and I have no idea what this is...

Perhaps I should emerge from under my rock more often..?
I believe it came out in the UK several years ago and was something of a failure, but then it was rehashed by Andrew Lloyd Weber in my home city Melbourne, Australia and was a roaring success!

I never got a chance to see it though, i wanted to.
Loki you and I must have similar tastes in lots of things, I love phantom of the opera.

:o how have I NEVER heard of this. It's time to go hunting on the interwebs, I must learn more.

It came out in 2010 in the UK, and from what I read, got mixed reviews. A lot were pretty bad though :( I'm glad they made this recording, and I hope that it goes on tour here in the US because it is really good, I loved it! Then again, I've been a fan of Phantom of the Opera almost my whole life, ever since my Dad brought me back the playbill from when he saw it in London XD

The recording is totally worth it though, it's not like a lot of recordings of stage productions. It's gorgeous...I'm hoping at the very least they will release a DVD of it. (Or am I behind the times and it'd be a blu ray now?)
