Modern Fantasy RP, anyone? ^^
Setting: Modern day Paris, France
Valentin was roaming the streets of Paris, walking around recklessly. The city had become a lot more quiet than he had expected. He took a bite of a green apple.
"Ah... You," he sighed, as his monkey returned. "What did you find today?"
The monkey grinned and slipped the thing into Valentin's hoodie pocket. Just an ordinary day, he thought.
He gave the half eaten apple to the monkey, which snatched the apple and ran away, hiding from the world. Their usual thing.
The silence was broken by a person shouting out loud: "Who stole my watch?!"
The voice - which had been a man's - stared at Valentin, the small eyes widened in anger, as he set off after Valentin, who just kept standing in the same spot.
The man hurried to him, his giant fist showing it was ready for a punch.
Valentin looked up at him, as he slashed out a rope from his sleeve, wrapping it around the neck of the man.
Valentin walked past the Passerelle Debilly, and chuckled, as he saw the horror in the faces of the passerbies, staring at the newest attachment to the bridge. The rope cracked, and the fat body of the man plumped into the river.
Stuffing his hands into his pockets, Valentin kept walking his daily route.
Thinking of a modern day fantasy RP to test out my character Valentin.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
