o.0 is there a way to change how many characters are publicly shown? Now with the 'see all characters option' sometimes it's a bit of a surprise to see 11 characters shown on one persons profile without having to click that, then looking at someone else's profile and only seeing 1 character shown, and thinking "wow--they only have one character" until seeing the 'click to see all 8 characters"

Yes. Having characters in the "Looking for RP" character category will restrict the characters on your user profile to only those characters that you've placed in that category. It's a method by which you can control which characters you most want to show off to the public, and downplay those you don't currently want to receive RP inquiries about.
