So, I was wondering who would enjoy a persona rp. It would take very careful writing from a gm who knows well of philemon, igor, nyarlhotep (...sp?), jungian philosophy and more. I'd be glad to write it but it would take me some time to feel as though it was done justice. All the better though with my current limited availability. Still, testing the waters.

I would ask "which persona" but I think Igor is only in Persona 3. What kind of rp would you have in mind? Would we be following the story as new characters/old ones? And to join would we need knowledge of the entire plot of the game? (I've only ever gotten a little over half of the way through.)

A complete original building on the collective philophy of all with a new parallel base (i would probably suggest the new lead be shamash for the base persona, countered by his sibling, in which i could make a list of syro-assyrian company deities for people to pick from and maintain a proper three. 3 is was greek, 4 was japanese, but all leads share a base i can explain later.) igor is in every single persona, even before numbered, and is in several other parallel shin megami tensei games. I could write a new premise that plugs into the world. I definitely dont want to carbon copy 3 and 4 since theyre united in the new arcade game in japan (coming to the us in august) and i partially expect persona 5 will be uniting them to ... Uh, trying not to make spoilers. Fix something from 3. Basically, i set out a basic premise, give a base theme for the group personas, let people build around a large set of potentials and then do craft gm stuff for dungeons and plot to involve everyone. (c, i'm mobile)

Igor by the way is a fundamental and intrinsic part of the persona universe, serving a central figurehead that shows in early unnumbered personas and is behind the scenes in others. I won't say more, cuz a lot of folks don't know and that could be part of the journey.

This all sounds mighty interesting. Could you perhaps possibly refer me to the relevant literature? I'll be Googling the names you mentioned in an attempt to find the literature myself.
