...Can get confusing!

If I'm given a rose, I assume their purpose or their 'use' is to be displayed on my profile. Can't they just give you the quote AND the spangly display pixel? Or maybe make it more clear, when you press USE "Are you sure you'd like to snap the rose and read the quote? It'll be gone forever!" Something..Because I clicked USE when I meant to put it on my profile. I didn't know roses gave quotes and I can't exactly get back a black rose.

Not everyone wants to put a rose on their profile (a lot of dudes especially don't), even if they enjoy receiving one. So the roses are built to function sort of like greeting cards for those that like the sentiment but don't want the "spangly display pixel".

The warning message when activating a rose is..
Quote:
Plucking the petals of this rose will reveal a meditation on love, just for you.

This is a single use item.

Are you sure you want to activate it?

I'm not sure if "snap" is more of a warning than "pluck", really?

Regardless, I will restore your black rose since you used it by accident. :)

Pluck is a good way to put it, I don't know why I was thinking of fortune cookies.
Maybe I just did not see the message, or clicked through blindly. (I'd never received an RPR rose before!)
I apologize for my hasty clicking and then my hasty typing.
Thank you, Kim. <3

You're welcome! It's a very understandable mistake, and I'll add a little more to the description just in case. :)
This happened to me too with my stargazer Lilly and I literally cried (over tiny pixels lmao) and was mortified.
Now I have a significant fear of my gifted flowers getting the boot by a friend on accident!
Thanks Kim, you're the best!
