(I'd like to say real quickly before I begin my post that the idea I have here is mostly based off of the movie Pandorum. The characters wake up with no memory's of their past though, and every person has Amnesia. It's up to you whether they regain their memories or not, haha this is an rp after all! Your character does not have to be human, for the ship can contain as many species as we would all like, but humans will be the main characters seen, unless others are found or arise from the vents or something. =w=;; You can jump in at any time you'd like, if you so please!
Thank you for reading this, and I do hope some others join me with this. c: )

Amanda's iris' slowly peeked through her eyelids, catching a first glimpse through a steam covered glass window. The window shone upon what seemed like a dark room compared to whatever she seemed to be in at the time being. Her eyes shifted all around, taking notice to the ice crystals which seemed to be surrounding her in the capsule.

She shut her eyes once more, trying to remember anything about herself, but as she began to do so, the door to the capsule opened. Her weak and nimble body fell to the floor within seconds and she hit the metal hard. Although the blue incandescent light shone upon her from the capsule, the room was still fairly dark and frightening. She could only see a little bit to the other side of the room, until her body began to convulse.

She realized the feeling of bitter cold engulfing her body and skimming against her skin. She did not want to move in fear that her arm would literally snap off. She did not try to stand in fear of her bones cracking while she used all of her effort.

So she lay there for a long while. A long while being a time that she could not calculate. A time too long for her to want to remember. Soon after her thoughts finished with thinking of where she was, she realized her body was no longer breaking before her.

So she stood. Slowly but surely she stood on her two feet, holding onto the capsule which she fell from. She looked around the dimly lit room and found a closet which seemed to have many clothes in it for men and women. She slowly slid over to it. She had the utmost of trouble lifting her feet from the ground, so instead she stiffly glided them onward.

Once she made it to the closet, her body began to heat up once more. It seemed to be at a more normal temperature. She had a feeling that it was from the movement, but she knew it still was enough and that she needed some sort of protection against any further cold.

She lifted her arm slowly to the closet door, which was a sliding door that had been shut quite tight. She opened it, using all of her upper body strength that she had long forgotten about. She looked down for a moment, memories of her long hours of working out paying off. She had abs. She was more manly than most woman. She was proud to be more strong.

She shook her thoughts away from that topic and opened up the closet. The room was spacious and oddly large, but was filled with bountiful amounts of clothes. She looked around at them, skimming through each outfit and her eyes skimmed past a suit that brought forth more memories.

The outfit was simple. It had metal plating over her breasts in order to protect her heart, and more cloth-like gentle material beneath it, making it more comfortable. Her boots were high, and very thick. They seemed heavy, but proved to be not as so. As she put the boots onto her still stiff legs, she realized that they began to glow a light blue.

It brought a big smile to her face.

I love blue. She thought to herself. She did love blue. More memories smacked her head in the back of her mind. They reminded her of her adoration for blue and it's glorious shine. She remembered a large body of water, all blue. It seemed like it had been far too long since she had seen this blue.
Too long for her to like.

She blinked a few times and began to put the rest of the plain and boring outfit on, the rest of it being less memorable than the top. The rest was made of tight fitting material which clung to her body. Her shoulder pads were also dull, the shape almost like a distorted crescent. As soon as all of the apparel was attached, she began to glow more blue.

She looked around the closet, searching for something else that she knew belonged with it. She could not find it though. She didn't even know what exactly she was looking for. She just knew there was something else she really needed.

She let out a quiet sigh and shivered, her body regaining the warmth still.
He woke with a pounding headache and the distinct feeling he had just missed something very important. But he couldn't, for the life of him, remember what it was.

Eric Lansing felt and heard the capsule he was in slide open, shifting the pressure. He winced as his legs gave out and he landed ungracefully on the floor. "O-oh." He was cold and apparently not clothed in much beyond a thin layer of fabric that was hard to distinguish as being either pajama wear or maybe just a smock of some sort.

He clawed his way to his feet and stumbled to a door across the way. He opened it to find clothes had been stuffed inside it. He pulled out a red shirt and a pair of jeans, before looking around, feeling lost. He was forgetting something. Something important. Something dear to him.

He patted himself down and came up empty. Carefully he rubbed his head. Had he bumped it against something? He couldn't remember--only that he felt he should have a friend with him.

"H-hello?" He called out, wondering if there was anyone else around this place; at any rate, he was going to explore.

Amanda heard some shuffling from the distance, and even, to her pleasure and excitement, a voice. She couldn't quite tell where exactly it came from, but she could tell that it was another being like her. Her body shivered one more time, not from cold but almost from adrenaline shooting up her spine and filling her with excitement.

She attempted to run towards the door, "Hello! I'm here!" She shouted loudly, but as soon as she finished her sentence and made it to the doorway, her legs gave out and she tumbled onto the floor face first. She let out a few curses and attempted to get back up.

"Hello! Hello!" She shouted repetitively, making sure the other being could hear her. As she recovered her balance, she walked towards where she believed the voice came from at first.

Only then did she begin to notice that the darkness was ended by a single light in the hallway, which seemed to be as bright as he blue shoulder pads. She looked around the corridor, noticing the metallic and shiny glimmering of the smooth walls in the hall. She also saw towards the ceiling of the hall an air duct. It peeked through the ceiling in a square shape, one that would be expected. It was more so out of place which made it recognizable, considering the smoothness and modern appearance of the rest of the vicinity.

She looked back towards where she thought she had heard the voice and called out once more, "Hello! Hello! I'm here! Who else is there?"
There was a sound, a voice echoing his, and he paused. Was it his imagination or simply the headache amplifying his own echo? There came a pounding on the wall...and he turned to find a hallway leading away from the capsule he'd been trapped in.

Was there someone else trapped like him? He had no idea where he was, but knowing he was not alone sent a wave of relief through him.

"I hear ya," he called, rubbing at a slight mark on his temple that had been there for years. But he still looked around, searching for that thing he was missing, even as he headed toward the sound of whoever was calling his name.

It was in the air vent above Amanda, where the creature hid. A slightly yellowish light seemed to emanate from the vent, if one looked carefully enough, before the sound of claws scratching the metal surface of the air vent could be heard. Something was in the vent and it wanted out. Badly. But it seemed to be stuck.

She squinted her eyes, peeking at the man across the way and she grinned. She had almost completely forgotten about the noises coming from above her head, which she had dismissed as normal air vent sounds. She ran towards the voice, yelling as she drew nearer, "Oh hello! Hello! Sir Hello!"

Her obvious excited attitude only led to her thoughts no longer reminding her of simple tasks, like how to step one foot in front of the other. And thus her legs gave out once more and she fell onto her face, quickly rebounding and pushing herself up onto her knees. Her contradictory calm blue eyes fell upon Dr. Lansing, the light illuminating from her shoulder pads and the dim lights in the middle of the corridor, which flickered on and off, were the only sources of light which allowed her to see him.

She was quite happy at this point, almost exuberant. She had not remembered speaking to another person for some time. She couldn't remember much though which says quite a bit about the whole situation.

"Hello! I'm Ms. Alinium, and I worked in the uhm... I believe within the guard units? But do you-" She stopped mid-sentence as she heard clawing coming from the vent behind her. She turned herself around and quickly walked over to it, not allowing much time for Dr. Lansing to reply to anything which she had stated.

"If there's something in there should we kill it?" She asked him, turning her attention to him once more. She treated him as if she knew him, even though she did not. It was simply how she treated everyone else. She was open and friendly, always inviting.
It was a wonderful feeling to be greeted with such enthusiasm and hope. He got the feeling that he never got such a welcome from...from before. He couldn't really remember where he had been or what he had been doing. It irked him a little.

"I, uh, am Dr. Eric Lansing..." he began when she introduced herself, and then stopped when he heard the same scrabbling sound she did.

"I-I don't know. I don't think I have anything to use for a weapon." He patted himself down, but came up empty. The clothes he was borrowing had nothing in their pockets and he found himself wishing for some latex gloves.

The odd glow coming from the vent was bright enough now that the source was obviously at the cover. A narrow, pinkish-white nose and several whiskers poked out of one of the slots, before there came a sudden snap and the cover fell free.

The creature in the vent launched itself free as well; a brown and white rat, about eight inches long from snout to hindquarters, with another six inches of naked pink tail, landed on the floor. To all appearances it would have looked normal, had it not also radiated a slightly yellowish glow.

It charged towards the two people who were watching it.
