The list should be all crossed off. Introduce myself, check. Create a character, check. Find an rp to join or create one myself, check. Last one isn't crossed off and the minotaur dude is always there even though I'm not a newbie any more. Is this supposed to happen?

this is just a thought...but did you start a Rp without using the "tutorial" because if so that may be why he is lingering...
I'm 99.999% certain you can just dismiss the minotaur at any point, can you check for an option? He didn't exist when I joined so I don't know where you can do it, but I'm very confident I've heard Kim say he can be dismissed without finishing the tutorial!

Click 'Find an RP' and he'll poof afterwards. You don't have to actually pick one it shows, just using the button was enough for me.

I'm having the same issue now, only the above suggestion didn't work to get rid of the minotaur.
Not that I don't love the big guy, but I'm somewhat of a stickler for space saving, and I'm hardly a noob.
If anyone could help that'd be great.
