Howdy all. I want to try a little experiment!
This is a thread for modern fantasy RP, all OCs are welcome. I only ask that you respect Rp immersion, and be good to your fellow players.
Setting: Gotham
Yup, Gotham City! The beauty about Gotham is you don't have to know anything about Batman or DC to play in the setting. Its a nice neutral playground for modern Rp because the city is already acquainted with weird. Most people who see 'Gotham' have a fair idea of what sort of atmosphere to expect, whether they're familiar with it or not.
Style: Dailies
Dailies are spontaneous, low pressure Rps that usually begin and end in the same day. The hope is that the thread will be recyclable. They're good for players who want to play but don't want to commit before they're ready. Post lengths should be at least a paragraph, give or take.
ALL OCs welcome.
Think of this as panfandom. You can play whatever you want, just use your common sense. If you have an OC that is nonhuman, hide them nonhuman bits! It wouldn't be normal for a dog anthro to be walking around in public. Use cartoon logic. Cartoon logic is a magical device that allows us to have nonhuman characters in a human setting without causing a riot. Think Clark Kent's glasses. Got a furry? Just put a hat and a scarf on it and don't walk in especially well lit areas.
Assume all human NPCs are as oblivious as the people Superman works with. Obviously our OCs can probably see through this disguise (lord, I hope they can).
How do I not break Rp Immersion?
Simple! If an Rp is already in progress and the characters have set a scene, you would choose not to add Godzilla without asking first.
You would also choose not to have your character stumble in with an arrow out of their back without asking first.
Sound good? Awesome. Lets play.

The recently unemployed miscreant was laying on her back, not but a couple of blocks from the arcade she had been basically living at. Her arms were folded over her chest, her legs bent at the knee, and she was staring at Gotham's starless sky. She was.. bored.
Really, really up there on the boredom scale. Once she'd lived in a game, everything else felt kind of gray. Gotham especially.
She just thought she needed some actual human interaction because she'd been getting a little too into the lore and a little too far away from reality as she knew it. There was a line. Seemed unlikely to find human interaction on the roof of a liquor store, though.

The recently unemployed miscreant was laying on her back, not but a couple of blocks from the arcade she had been basically living at. Her arms were folded over her chest, her legs bent at the knee, and she was staring at Gotham's starless sky. She was.. bored.
Really, really up there on the boredom scale. Once she'd lived in a game, everything else felt kind of gray. Gotham especially.

Miles had just gotten out of work and was ready to go out of the City , but what would that do for him? Blüdhaven was the same as Gotham it had a Vigilante acrobat there. It would be wise for him to just go out on town. His dad would only let him stay out for at least another 3 hours. What to do?
Miles worked at a burger joint called Mgee's part time. He worked the night shift and always cruised around Gotham after work but what would force him to change that? Miles walked to his car when suddenly a "homeless" man jumped out of a bush with a broken bottle came up to him.He was clearly unstable and on drugs. The Man threatened with "Hey...hmm...boy...G-Give me all that you have...NOW!! You don't know how fast the Cops will show up! I can kill you and dump you into the Canal! D-D-Don't test ME!". Miles instantly jumped when the man came out of the bush. Miles listened to the Man and tried to figure a peaceful way out of this. "H-Hey buddy...I don't want trouble." The man looked at Miles Angrily "Trouble? Y-You don't KNOW TROUBLE!!! " The Crazed man Exclaimed before trying a swipe at Miles with the bottle. Miles's shirt got caught in the swipe and saved him from some rabies and illness. Miles got rebalanced and high kicked the Man in the nose making him knock out and crash into the parking lots trash containers. He comforted himself by thinking ' It's not your fault he could've killed you.' He felt better and hopped into his car and headed for a liquor store...obviously for some snacks.
He wouldn't know that there was a person in top of the building. He went in and out getting the necessities he needed to feed his cravings. He pulled into a nearby alley and began to munch on. ((Hope this one gets more people))

Miles just sat back into his chair and started to wonder off and fell asleep in his car. Not the best idea in Gotham. After a few minutes of sleeping a loud bang went off and a bullet went into his car tire. Flattening it. Three Robbers come out and hold knives and a gun at him. They want his car and the money on him. "I don't have money in me I swear!" He begged as the men start to beat on him. Miles didn't want to fight back in fear of getting shot or stabbed. This made a lot of noise and maybe could have startled some people around in the area.
