Alright so between finishing FFXV for the first time, and my hype over the release of FFXII: The Zodiac Age, I've been thinking about my favorite hobby - RP!

I've toyed with the idea of starting a group for it here on RPR, but I'm very inexperienced with leading group based RP. I was thinking of a mass-game storyline (ala Dissidia), with slots for playing canon characters as well as OCs.

(Personally, I'd really like to play an OC from XII/Tactics' setting of Ivalice.)

I was hoping to bounce some ideas off with the community before deciding on anything, though. That's why this is being posted here, instead of LFRP, as was my initial plan.

So, what do you guys think?

Tactics was my jam, though. Love that thunder god.

I loved FFXII, Fran FTW

I have had a few ocs in the setting, I even have a Viera or two, i might be butchering the races name though lol

If we did do a Dissidia one. I could go ahead and bring someone in.

Hmm... I've been looking for an excuse to work on making an Ivalice moogle OC for a while now... this might be the excuse I need.

I'd be more than happy with participating in a group FF RP with such a character.

I can go kick one of my Viera onto the rpr as well!

Honestly, I'm surprised to see so many eager parties!

I'm still working on an rpr for my Viera, so I haven't really planned out beyond that, sadly.

My main character is practically a souped-up Final Fantasy villain with the serial numbers filed off so /SHOT

I do have Dorbran, my dear WoL from FFXIV on here but I still have yet to really attribute a proper backstory and some polish to him.

Tactics is my favorite as well! 9 was also very good. I don't have any characters made for such a setting exactly, but I have some fantasy-level characters that I would love to throw into such a story!

Count me in. I loved Dissidia and FFI and II.

Well I got my moogle OC set up on RPR... which I probably would have done eventually anyways, but the thought of a possible FF group definitely sped things up.

So if this does happen or someone else decides they want to set up a FF RP group, I'm more than ready to participate (if allowed).

I definitely want to be part of this RP as well! Ivalice is my favorite Final Fantasy world, and I already have a viera oc that I doodle all the time. I'll be posting up a profile for her as soon as possible.
Are we going to make a group for this? If so I wouldn't mind helping out in anyway I can @Snipehunt.

So, thanks to all the replies here, I've decided to unveil a new roleplay group! It's currently only for RP in the world of Ivalice, but I'd love to expand to the rest of the series as well!

I'd almost given waiting to see if anything would come of this... I even tried an interest check for an idea of my own, but got no replies T.T... was probably a rubbish idea anyway, so probably for the best......
