Im using my sisters old account that she doesnt use anymore. I've changed literally everything except age. She is younger than me, and I can't find a way to update my age! Can someone tell me what to do? I really don't want to end up looking like some pedophile or kidnapper because of the fact that I can't change what my age says!

I think from this, it's not even possible to change your age unless you're the original owner of the account. Even then, I think you have to provide proof of your age or birthday being incorrect. So if you want your own account with the right age, it's probably wise to just make a new account rather than take your sister's.
Light pretty much hit the nail on the head in terms of an explanation. While you are certainly more than welcome (and encouraged!) to get into contact with the site administrator, Kim, to get this cleared up, the far easier route would be to make a user profile solely for your own.
While I won't get into the whole spiel because I'm still waking up from a nap, it all comes down to a matter of trust: while the moderation team and the administrator want to believe you are your own person and not your sister, we will never be entirely sure who still has access to the account/who is currently using it, and whether your attempt to change your age might actually be a deceitful attempt to get around certain age restrictions. That's the primary reason we don't allow people to change their birthdates by themselves; a user's birthdate never changes with in their life.
One of the pitfalls of having an online persona instead of your actual self in the open, too.

Along with the the age issue, that rule is also in place so that any potential personal (positive OR negative) ties with other users or previous conversations are not passed onto another person. I'd feel really uncomfortable knowing someone I might have interacted with had given their account and all it entails to a stranger, especially as username changes are possible.

Per the rules, accounts should have one owner. Swapping, trading or sharing accounts is not allowed. Please close this account and make your own. 
Hm. I see. I'll just give this account back to my sister haha. She doesn't seem to interested, but I'll give the ownership back to her haha.
