The OOC chatter tags don't do what they said in that one news article. I'm on chrome. I put my text between double parenthesis and it doesn't work.
Hmm.. Have you changed your settings? And which kind of thread are you trying to use it in?
The tags only work if you entire post is OOC and kept between double parenthesis. A post that contains an IC post, even if it has a bit of OOC at the top, is not an OOC post, and therefore doesn't collapse.

Because this part could be a legitimate IC post, and collapsing the entire post defeats the purpose.
